Safe travels home Renee and Randy. I’m so glad you didnt transport Pollux, as youre right it would’ve traumatized him. You are the BEST mom to ALL your kids. I love how you put their needs first, that’s true love. We took our huskies up to the mountains here in So Calif and boy did they have a ball. What amazes me about them is how they stay warm in it for hours. My son is at TCU in Texas and experiencing this freak storm as you are in KY. Have you ever gotten that much snow? I mean, 9 inches at your property is DEEP!!! Wow.

Did you ever take one of the excursions by boat to the place where The Night of the Iguana was filmed? It’s so much fun. They do a luncheon BBQ on the beach when you get there and on the return trip they have a party on the boat. You can snorkel at the beach, or go deep sea diving, ball games are started. There’s another snorkeling excursion that goes to the most beautiful place. Breathtaking!!!

I am leaving tomorrow for Exuma Bahamas......now there is somewhere you need to go! Beautiful turquoise water, white sandy beaches and you can swim with the pigs!! I too have someone live in my house the 10 days we are gone because I can't bare to board him and he loves the gal that stays with him. I love getting away but I miss my dog terribly while I'm gone.

So glad you escaped the cold snap and what better place to enjoy it than Puerto Vallarta. You have a nice tan which is the envy of all us here in the northern parts. FyI, I just watched a Utuber named Melissa the Groomer and her latest video is grooming a Staffirdshire Terrier that looks similar to Pollux and thought you would enjoy it. Coloring on that dog resembles Pollux bu nose is shorter. Enjoy!

So glad you got extra time in the sun. We had freezing days and lots of snow for this area too (New Mexico) and I just can't function once it goes below, say 45 F. Well God bless. I focused intently on the parachutist at 3:52. Now there's a challenge for any wannabe thrill seekers, with the added bonus of a terrific view to savor on the float down. And, it looks like so much more fun than bungee jumping where you wind up just bouncing around on a long rubber band. It's a good idea that at least two people be in your house when away for an extended time, for company as well as safety. Being in a place by choice and getting stuck there are distinctly different experiences, no matter how gorgeous the surroundings. You'll be home again soon.....maybe instead of Chicago, you could change your flight to another unaffected city then rent a car or take Amtrak to Paducah.

Yep.....KZbin did not send out new video notifications to my subscribers while I was in Mexico. They thought my channel had been hijacked! I was locked out of my channel for a while.....and it was a whole big mess. Anyway, I'm back home now and am told by KZbin that I just have to wait it out for my channel characteristics to return to normal which can take up to 10 days 🥺. Just know that I do release new videos every Tuesday and Friday morning so check back with me ❤️

Today is 2/25 SECOND 6 inches of snow THIS WEEK since that BIG STORM that hit the center of USA! I guess that Texas STORM jacked your Travel plans... no one flies through CHICAGO this time of year UNLESS YOU LIVE IN THE AREA due to Winter weather! Jersey girl that flew to WEST COAST during the Holidays FOR YEARS to see IN-LAWS until transfer to Dallas, but I now live in COLORADO with SNOW! STAY IN MEXICO & ENJOY IT!

I´m only 4 hours from PV! What a nice extended stay you´re having. I highly recommend ordering a Carajillo as an after-dinner drink. It´s a shot of espresso with a shot of Licor 43. It´s my favorite and very popular in Mexico.

I would have loved to have missed out on the power outages we had here in TX... luckily, we had a fireplace to take the edge off & kerosene lamps for light!

Not a bad place to be stuck...that's for sure! ;) Wow! It looks like Edmonton...where I'm from in Canada..That's normal for us in the winter. We are not allowed to travel unless it is deemed essential. You are lucky you don't have these rules to follow. But, I'd rather be safe than sorry...not being able to come home without quarantining in hotels that we have to pay out of our own pocket. Because of the variant virus spreading quickly from the UK & South Africa...it had us locked down...We just opened up our lockdown...and waiting the 3 week period until we can move onto the next phase. Puerto Vallarta is so beautiful! I have been there twice. I haven't been there in over 25 years. It is still so quaint there.

Have you heard of " Musher's secret" it protects dogs paws from both from the cold and the heat on the bottoms of their paws... it's what mush sledders use on their dogs.. especially since Pollux doesn't want to come in from the snow ...lol...

Hi Renee, I'm somewhat confused. You say you've been in Mexico almost a month now. Well you did your video of making your valentine cheesecakes a couple of days perhaps before valentines day at home. That wasn't a month ago. I must have got it wrong so you made your valentines cakes in January then ? Glad you're enjoying your hols. The pic of the 2 cocktails look so refreshing. I just wanted to drink them. I was actually wondering when you were going as I remember you mentioned it sometime in the early autumn you were going there and taking Pollux with you. As you say it was too difficult to take him in the current circumstances. He's really having a ball in the snow as he loves it.
