你吃的那顆半透明果肉是叫做(水椰)的果實，在馬來西亞普遍叫做(亞答籽)他的樹也叫做(亞答樹)。😊

All the local stalls that do not speak english are not malaysian workers serving you. They are indonesians or bangladeshis. Example the menu has ayam penget, indonesian restaurant jokowi. Indonesians do not speak english. The indian stall may have indian or bangladeshi workers. If you visit malaysian noodle stalls or chinese / taiwanese stalls they will speak mandarin of course. In the mall, staff can speak english.

I see! Thank you for the detailed explanation. I later found out that many Grab drivers and employees at department stores can speak both Chinese and English, which is impressive!

@Enqi yes normally Malaysians can speak many languages. It is like our dna. For me I know malay, English, cantonese, fujian (minaan, hokkien), mandarin. Some study korean or japanese, so will know more languages. For us, language is important.

長時間待在在kingfisher一定很無聊可以去遠一點的地方散散心比如說tanjung aru海灘或者 kokol hill

沙巴很多中国人去先本那旅游，治安方面没什么问题，但也要注意安全。妳可以问问他们有没有中餐厅，妳每天吃马来餐也会吃到怕。也问问他们能不能在家自己做饭，对健康更好，哈哈哈！

@Enqi in the peninsula, you may find larger language centres but I felt smaller ones can offer personal attention to students. I am sure you know that college classes are larger. So ratio of lecturers to students is not great.
