You need to repair the drive core of the Aurora! if you repaired it the radiation is slowly disappearing so you don't need radiation suit anymore and you can replace your suit with reinforced dive suit!!!

Well to be honest, it's the same thing happened to me the first time I played it, not being scared was my problem but getting lost and not knowing what to do and wasting hours grinding for tools, etc..... but believe me once you have the seamoth and tools needed to explore(scanner - seaglide-cutter-repair tool) and once you start following those pda the game gets easier and easier. In your case, it gets much less scary once you get to know the noises and the difference between a monster and ambient music ...

*[SPOILERS DOWN BELOW]* 2:38 thats the warpers communicating with the other warpers, the only reason u can hear it is because they are robots sending messages to eachother. the hunting/analyzing was meaning you, they're hunting you. 11:05 the overlay that u see on ur screen and the noises r from a part of the story, she's known as "the mother of the ocean" or maybe thats just me. ie endgame stuff.

i understand you man, this game at a certain point just get boring and you simply dont know what to do. i also had a break when i was playing this game, but if you ever wanna come back to the game, try to build the other vehicules, itll make the game fun again

There's a tool for exploring wrecks called the Pathfinder Tool which leaves a trail of glowing holographic markers to easily find your way out of caves annd wrecks. That big horse shoe shaped wreck you were in is the most dangerous one in the game, I'm glad made it out... Part of your problem is listening to chat who told ypu to build your first base way out in that loud red grassy area. I get it, fear of deep water is real, so who says you HAVE to build an underwater base as your first one? Someone like you needs a base at or near the surface in the Safe Shallows area as your first, preferably with windows, no shame in that. If you're playing Subnautica just to please us but you're hating the experience, absolutely take a break or stop altogether.. Life's too short to he miserable, take care, it was fun watching you overcome your fears. It's just pixels on a screen but somehow it can provoke primordial fears, amazing.

question/suggestion. you had mentioned how you'd rather die in space than in the ocean. With that in mind, are you going to play either Astroneer or No Man's Sky? For reference, Astroneer is the cartooney version of NMS. Both are pretty fun, but astroneer doesn't have water lol

I'm quite thankful I have no qualms about the deep, and I got to enjoy this game start-to-finish. Even though I went into it expecting to be bored because, minecraft in water bleh. I was so wrong and I loved all the 40h it took me to reach the ending. Point is, stick with it, you'll see amazing things. Maybe scary things, but amazing things.

The noises are pervasive - don't think that there's any biome without noisy creatures around. The reefbacks make a whale-like noise and are the most harmless and even then there's the chance of a needle shooting plant growing on them.

Hey FFH, you gotta look out for your own needs first before others dude, i commend you for the effort and also realising you need that break. I use Subnautica as a kind of exposure therapy in a sense but it still freaks me the f out... Subnautica or not, keep up the quality video work and entertaining subjects and we'll all still check out everything you upload. Remember, thousands of people have played/uploaded vids on Subnautica but people only subscribe if they like the channel and as far as i can tell you're going strong man 👍 do what makes you happy

End up taking a break again around where I took a break in the game last time. Come back a few months later, forget what I did that time around, restart over again...... lol You inspired me to start playing subnautica again as well. I am so lost. The only thing I remember from the game was make a space ship to win. What the hell do I do between starting and finishing though.... lol, guess I will figure it out over time. Just got my own seamoth and base going. I installed a map mod as well. Fuck games with 0 maps to them. I can build fucking rocket ships and shit in this game, but cannot cobble together some damn paper and a pen? Makes no sense...

Play at your own comfort level. Perhaps playing subnautica only on stream days might help as you wont have to force yourself to watch through the entire footage for editing which causes you discomfort. Also as you mentioned, it felt less stressful with chat. But do play at your own comfort level.

hahaha you had me worried for a second. yeah that makes a lot of sense, I'm not a very loud or expressive person so it might not seem like I have that phobia to some people, especially if you are expecting a different reaction. I do want to come back to the game, not even to finish it necessarily, but just to give it another shot. And I thought streaming it would make the experience better, but yeah there was just so much info being thrown at me that it just became overwhelming.
