I fear this is what’s happening with my partners relative. I have hoped and prayed for many days that they can let go and be at peace … some don’t understand that thought. Thank you for the work you do

Frequently death comes as an intruder. It is an enemy that suddenly appears in the midst of life’s feast, putting out its lights and gaiety. Death lays its heavy hand upon those dear to us and at times leaves us baffled and wondering. In certain situations, as in great suffering and illness, death comes as an angel of mercy.

You are so very right. We all find our way to death one way or another - and actually it is usually that the person dies as they lived... Thanks for your comment. It is an honor! Thanks for watching. But fortunately he found his way home. I visited his wife the week later and the family are all doing well and very grateful for the hospice care.

Oh, just saw you watched this one too. I am so honored to do this care. If you have any contacts in the Boston hospice world, send them my way. Lots of love.

I have many mental health diagnosis: depression, anxiety, severe depression, schizoaffective disorder, schizophrenia. I wish that I was able to access “medical aid in dying” for the “terminally ill” in your hospice. I have “medi-cal”. I have a highschool diploma and I went to community college for 2 years and then I dropped out. I am now 28 years old. I turn 29 this year.

MAID in dying is for patients who have two physicians confirming the patient has a terminal illness with expected life of 6 months. I have compassion for you and hope you will seek counseling and support for your psychiatric illness - which is so very real and causes significant suffering. Blessings to you in your quest for a happier life.
