Yeah true, I think it's less about the amount than the nature of the food - pairing greasy food with a cheese sauce is quite difficult to stomach so quickly, especially for Koreans who tend to like to cut back on greasy foods with kimchi/other spicy and sour side dishes.

Mukbang was initially started as a way so that ppl don't feel lonely when they eat. Him and the youtubers you mentioned are indeed mukbangers but their niche is that they eat in large proportions. Being a "real mukbanger" doesn't mean you should eat in large portions lol
