it's funny, despite how good you are with knives i couldn't help but think you'd have gotten every kill faster and more consistently with the mp5 lol the devs could definitely give the knives a fire rate or projectile speed buff

removing its spread while doing anything beyond simple strafing would be great as well, maybe being able to hold the alt-fire could make it actually reasonable to use that goddamn 2 second delay is not worth the reward

one issue I have with them is the lack of leeway with the projectile hitboxes. the cl-40 and the mgl both have a decent bit of leeway, you can direct someone even if the grenade doesn’t visibly collide. Compare that to the knives, which have no leeway, no splash damage, random spread, which means you need to heavily lead your shots, which can be inconsistent against competent opponents. I really want to like them, but there are just better options for the amount of skill investment.

I think the dev should reward throwing knives more. Sword can insta kill light with right click and melee, easier to do with faster execution time. I know people gonna say knives have more range but u can use dash with sword and do the same. They need to buff throwing knife.

Do you think knives are better with the dash or invis? I feel like the dash plays into the fact that you never have to reload the knives and can just strafe around like a maniac to duel people, but the invis tech with the knife secondary fire is super cool too.

Yeah so personally I think that inviz is the safer option because it allows you to get a free shot in to initiate the engagement but if your good then dash is viable because like you said it allows you to play a bit faster and I find that a lot more fun especially since I come from playing a lot of tracer/Lucio in ow and Maeve/eevee from paladins. I’m in the works of making a guide where I will explain all of this in depth tho!

I love the throwing knives but half the time they just don't do ANY damage at all. I switched to other weapons when I threw knife after knife into the head of a stationary enemy and they took zero damage.

Yeah they definitely are inconsistent at times especially in like competitive play

@@AMI___ what's weird is that it didn't really happen to me a few weeks ago but now it's every game. I don't think it's lag either because it still gives me a hitmarker and shows the damage on their skin, it's strange.

it's actually not that bad. They're the only weapon I've been using. The only problem I have with them is the SLOW regular fire, but it's pretty easy to compensate for that by using dash strafing

@@zomgio honestly the only thing I don’t like is the fact that jumping and moving effects the accuracy which makes your shot pretty inconsistent when your trying to strafe n stuff
