Bill Maxwell Is THE Best Drummer EVER!! He Always knows how to Accentuate every note of every song perfectly, every single time! There are Just no words to express how Bill’s drumming impacted my life and my drumming. I grew up listening to Andrae Crouch and The Disciples on records and cassettes, almost every single day. Through that, I Decided early on, that being an anointed Church musician/singer is the only way to go. Thank you Bill!! Andraé’s music was/is still so awesome. And he was so blessed to have Bill Maxwell on drums.

Bill Maxwell is the greatest!! I tried to get his autograph on my Koinonia Celebration Album when he toured with Phil Driscoll, but I was too late to the stage!! I’m getting it one day, God willing!!

I'm not sure how I found your interview with Doobie Powell today, then saw in the feed the interview with Bill Maxwell & Sandra Crouch......... Wow!! I enjoyed the 2 hours listening to background information I didn’t know even though I’ve followed Andrae’s music since the early 70’s. Living in the OKC area I was very aware of 3rd Avenue Blues Band / Sonlight and remember going to “The Open Door”…..a small storefront with post Sonlight members & Seth would perform……it was great & anointed music…..Reggie Young, I’ve not heard your name before, but will google. I appreciated your candor, spirit and recollection of music I grew up on and still listen 2 today……..With all Bill’s hats which are excellent, it is his heart 2 serve the people and minister that speaks most 2 me……….as that’s what we’re all called 2 do…….. Bill, your drum track on Keith Green's Prodigal son is my favourite drum track of all time. I can feel the emotion through the song but also the drum track. God bless brother.
