Well you gotta understand ESPN pays each SEC team $50 million per year. Colorado is a ratings goldmine. And while the Big 12 has a contract with ESPN as well, they also have a deal with Fox. So it’s clearly a conflict of interest. ESPN will always be biased towards the SEC because they pay them the most money. If Colorado continues to rise, eventually they will be competing with Fox for airtime.

I am so sick and tired of this discussion. I hope Deion signs a 10 year contract with Colorado. It is way better for College Football to have other teams rise from the ashes rather than just keep doubling down on the usual suspects. Colorado is winning games, Deions getting plenty of recognition and it's a team that doesn't already have a history of success in recent years that Deion is helping make be a much better team than before. He doesn't "need" to go to some other team that's already had a ton of success under other HCs. not disagreeing about the clickbait possibility but we’ve watched Stephen A for over 10 years and typically stuff we thought was clickbait at the time, usually came about. (i.e. Bron to Heat, KD leaving, etc) He knows Prime personally, so nothing is off the table in my opinion.
