Great Vid Ben! I have a similar tow behind from Northern Tools in the States 21gl. The one thing you did not mention in the vid was the PSI you choose to get your rate at X:KM per hour. I have been using 40psi @ 3mph for 1gl per 1K and it seems to be pretty close. I am very interested in your nozzle replacement choice and how to change them out. Please keep us updated and make a vid on that once you get there. As always I appreciate all your content! Peace and God's Love! Chad Upstate NY

Primo is a wonder product. Every 2-4 weeks. Any longer and the growth rebounds hard. I do find at Kikuyu rates it can be quite smelly and the smell can stick around. Add is a little N and Fe and its just amazing. I would still wear a mask. Look forward to seeing the followup video and turf improvements. Sometimes triple rinse takes longer than the spray job. In NZ we have a product called Li1000 that is great for helping with drift

Hi Ben, if you have a mix of rye and kikuyu, would you take the average base temp of 5? (i.e. rye = 0, kikuyu = 10, therefore use 5)?
@rcscaler783 жыл бұрын
Great video Ben. Calibration can be a real pain in the arse, especially when using multiple nozzle options. Generally we use aquajet nozzles on the course i work at due it constantly being too windy to use the finer nozzles. They give minimal spray drift but put out huge volume (a 700L spraytank helps for that). We also spray pretty much the entire golf course with primo maxx to slow it down but the only downside is,in the long term it creates lots of thatch. I can remember when 20yrs ago some sections of fairways we selectively sprayed every year have now become so spongy that we need to do do something about it.

Hey bud you obviously know what you are doing, would you ever consider using Paclobutrazol over the Trinexapac-ethyl? do you think you could do a video on the comparison between the two? The Paclobutrazol is supposed to last longer as it's a drench. I think you are a great content creator in the space! This pgr business has me thinking about a robot to keep on top of the growth over chemicals might be interesting to see a comparison in these types of lawn aids, probably get you a few more visitors to the channel too with lawn suppression being somewhat of a challenge for the time poor individuals.
