I hate both equally. Branded can extend through damn near anything and tenpai otks like no other. Honestly though the main issue is piss poor banlist for Master Duel. They seriously need to update the list.

As a Branded Player who plays *Pure* Branded/Despia, I still kinda hate how Branded Fusion got limited to 1. People say they don't need it, but I don't run Championship Meta and prefer to play for fun so having lost it, makes me feel all sad inside. I love playing decks with multiple branches and playstyles within its pure build and while they may not be tier 0, they're fun. But of course we can't have good things in this community. :(

Im a Branded player, and honestly, Playing against Branded is fine (as long as they're not on any toxic shit) the deck by itself is very flexible, adaptable, and honestly pretty interactive in a mirror match (and when when not) the 60 card version can be pretty annoying but I play 40 cards (I do play Sanctifire but I don't use puppet) I do agree that the 60 card variants can be stupid sometimes

My main goal when playing Branded is to get out Mirrorjade and the other Albaz Dragons, then back them up with handtraps. I also aim to keep Bystials in rotation for further support, and Sanctifire will come out if I need extra fusions but I don't use any locks. The only toxic card I have is D-Barrier in my Side Deck, for toxic stuff like Tenpai, Yubel, and other bullshit Meta/Toxic decks

@@Nightless008 Based. You don't need locks in branded. I was able to beat Fiendsmith Yubel Pre-Banlist at locals with my no lock branded deck. It's so much fun

This is just not a fun game… it’s a competitive one. You don’t see ball players getting upset because they got to go against another team with skill or even luck on their side that day…. This game attracts the same kind of crowd that flood to negative or triggering comments or posts. Looking for partners to complain about things with. Every so often you get the nuts every so often they get the nuts. What kind of player do you want to go against?? Blue eyes? Dark magician?? Some other tier 20 deck for an easy win? People complain in the mirror match of anything then complain about tier 1 meta then complain about flood gates…. A legitimate case of don’t hate the player… hate the game.

I like branded for the card art and lore. Does it suck to run into people playing the “lock” version of the deck? Hell yea but a somewhat pure version isn’t awful

Wish sanctifire got an errata to only summon fallen of albaz or cards that mention it from your grave and any monster from your opponents grave, I love playing branded but man is locking giving it a bad rep

As a fellow branded player the last dude was a big disappointment.. But I never understood how someone plays an equally annoying deck but complain about another lol. Lab is annoying as hell with them traps and recycling

Same with lab players. Shotgun everything before you even start playing. The amount of people that uses everything to get off an erradicator in standby phase just to find out I’m not playing spells. Or using lovely’s pop effect right away,bro what if I was playing Yubel???

I hate branded so much. It is an extremely overtuned, overrated deck with a fusion spell that does the same thing as red-eyes fusion without any restrictions. Worse the deck isn't that that old or new and the amount of support it has and archetypes it branches out into is obserd giving a ton of extension if interrupted. I hate it!!!!
