It doesn't seem like anyone told them the background for this, so on the off chance they see this: The Henry Stickmin series started off as a series of flash games. Breaking the Bank was the first and (by far) the shortest & simplest one, followed by the others up to Fleeing the Complex. After he released Fleeing the Complex, the creator decided to go back and revamp the earlier games with cleaner art, more Easter eggs, and the bios, and tie them together with the final game, Completing the Mission, as a multi-chapter set. Whether he was motivated more by Flash coming to an end, the desire to polish the earlier games, or wanting to actually get paid for SOME of his hard work, I don't know.

Honestly to me the wallpaper is what makes it feel the busiest. I like the color a lot but the pattern makes the whole backdrop feel very noisy. Clarification/ context for this game: The Henry stickmin collection is all the canon stickmin games remastered and compiled into one, with an extra game added as the final level. They started as flash games which is why they seem that way. Mark has played each game and the new one shown in this collection, as have many others. The reason it shows fails on the map is because people wanted to see all of them when youtubers played, and often those youtubers did aswell, so the map was implemented for later games. Due to the remastering of the old ones they have these too. The fails shown are only unique fails.

Since you're reading this, context for the achievements: There's a lot of hidden achievements between the six games, and since they started as flash games there's a lot of creativity in how you actually get them all.If you are trying to achievement hunt, it takes quite a bit of dedication and luck to notice or do everything to get them, so don't beat yourself up if you don't get 'em all. On the bright side though, most of the achievements are perfectly doable once you know what to look for, you just have to keep a sharp eye out and pay attention to the achievement names where you can. Also, the locks on the achievements don't mean anything, they're just locked achievements. Hope this helps somebody!

The background is definitely too busy for me. The contrast of the fan art on the color is nice, but the pattern with items directly on it is distracting. It doesn’t help that the background is vaguely skin color so it keeps drawing my eye.

Yeah, if they went with a more subtle/ relaxed pattern in a darker shade it wouldn't be as bad. Right now they look like they're on a green screen.
