If water or toilets haven't been run or flushed....sewer gas comes up the drains. Just flush the toilets a few times and let all the sinks run for a few minutes. It should remedy the problem. I used to work for a cleaning company. We would have to flush the plumbing pipes at vacation homes as part of regular cleaning maintenance.

Fortunately it missed your area. At least with direct hit although you did get winds flooding etc. it was doable compared to south of you. Plus your area and surrounding areas were lucky to be given ample notice to evacuate. Whereas poor fort myers Sanibel Bonita cape gorals etc was completely devastated with less than 24 hours notice. I really hope you update your channel that is devastated southwest florida and encourage your subs to help down there.
