Before I saw your video, I had no idea what microlocs even were. 1 week after I watched your install I started my own, and I'm coming up on 2 years in November!! You gave me so much confidence in starting and maintain them by myself. It's been so cool to see how much differently your hair has matured compared to my own even though we were kind of on the same timeline, so different but both beautiful!

I've had micro locs for 5 months and it's in the partial frizzy phase. I love them! They are just at my shoulders. I want to do a lic channel as well but idk where to start. There isn't much to see. And I can't really style them much bc they are light and thin. The only thing I can do is put the top in a bun and or just let it all hang down. But I love the decision I made to get micro locs. I'm loving it. They are beautiful.

I still want locs, but I don't think I will be able to get them. I have chronic inflammation on my scalp after I had Covid. There is thinning in the crown area, and as soon as I think it's getting stronger and growing back, it will start itching and breaking again. I was a subscriber before you got locs. I enjoy watching your loc journey since I can't have one of my own right now.

Love it ! You inspired the locs I have now. I had twisted my hair to start them and the next day saw one of your videos and knew right away I wanted micro locs. I immediately untwisted my twists and made them much smaller. They aren’t quite as small as micro locs but I got pretty close. I’m a couple months in now and I love them! Thanks 🙏🏼

OMG your micro locs are perfect. I’m jelly, but I know i don’t need to be. I had traditional locs for 5 years, and grew them to about bra strap length, but eventually I couldn’t take the tension and they were heavy so I chopped last March 😮 I am now really considering micro locs, but I just want to ensure that my edges are healthy enough to where I can keep the micro locs forever because I just cannot do loose natural. I gave it my hood girl try and I’m over it. I remember why I locd in the first place 😂

Hi KeKe... I'm a new follower. Ironically I stumbled upon your page by googling Sister Locs and Micro Locs. How lucky am I?!?! I'm seriously considering...No, actually I'm made up my mind to do micros. I'm 100% Natural, a little past the shoulder in length and definitely have the thickness of a Lioness Mane. I have no idea what my hair type is... Must admit I'm a little apprehensive but I'm going to try and give it go. I'm going to have my sister do my parts and I'll do the twists. I did and cut a lot of hair in my college days, and still do a few now, not professionally but... Ironically a Baker by trade, that does hair on the side...HA! Anyhoo... I looked into having it done but $1200+ is a lot...due to my length and thickness. (I'm in Washington, DC). Anyway just wanted to virtually "high-five" you, as you are an inspiration to many of all ages...
