I'm used to seeing distance in meters instead of feet but I will say at .3 miles, you are in a very good position. You don't want to be at the front - you want to be able to sprint through the field. But, this is important . . . you should be using this time to get in the right gear - something you can push hard against - getting into standing position, starting to pick up speed, and have your thumb ready on your powerup so that when 900 ft / 300m comes and everyone starts to go, there is no delay - you are on that 1,000W+ power that you have immediately. Instead what happened here is that they hit their power-ups, and then you start your process - about a 1 or 2 second delay - almost down to 600 ft / 200m to go before you really get on it and hit your power. That setup delay plus the fact that they had aero and you had draft and that sprint is over before it began. It's all good though - you have the correct upbeat attitude about it. Losses aren't losses if we turn them into lessons - all just part of the process of winning next time. 💪💯

800m out jump on your horse and you got it. Just kick earlier, and maybe try to hold 1000 watts two seconds longer.
