If you would like a real treat...the next time you are in Boone continue on 421 for 23 miles to Mountain City Tn. and stop at Mike's BBQ on the right. This place has the best BBQ sandwich on the East coast. Those are big words but I have eaten many BBQ sandwiches through the decades and they are simply the best. Be sure to order with NO SLAW. Enjoy.....

Youve been to lenoir? Not an impressive town but cool little downtown. They have car shows in the summer in downtown Its about 30 or 40 mins from boone

I have been there but I was unable to walk around due to music that was playing from outside speakers. I plan on going back. I did do a crazy drive around video for fun. kzbin.info/www/bejne/emqnk56dpZ6DipY
