As I partook in this event I'm quite disappointed at the fact that most of the players didn't grasp the idea of the civilisation and that they thought it was last to survive and not trade with other nations to live happily in harmony. My team was wiped off of the server by day two leaving 3 members which I was included. At the end of the 100 days I was the last survivor of that Nation Azcoria.

Hey Azcoria! Mrassoss here. I agree. This event was too battle oriented from the beginning. This video shows it quite well. What's the point of the "don't try hard" at the before the event when you see the MC does exactly that and that towers with too powerful loot are added on day 2... Anyway, fun event, loved my little peaceful farm ^^

Yeah it was quite sad, i mean i was part of the biggest nation on the server and we atleast tried to fight as less as possible, which lead us to be the "last nation alive" like ryan called us. I really hope that when such an event comes again it will be more peaceful.

I feel like this whole event was rather chaotic. I didn't see much civilization, and it almost feels like players weren't trying to develop and build together, and instead just trying to eradicate each other, which wasn't the point of the video. I think you did a good job, but I am a bit disappointed with how this went. I think this would've gone better if players had been split up prior to the start of the game, and if they were separated into different designated areas.

@@survivingryan2004 It's really not a problem. Just because it doesn't quite meet my standards doesn't mean that it was a bad video! I thought overall your narration, and cooperation was really good, and I like the idea of this video. Editing: On point. It's just the people really that might not understand the concept of what the video is all about, which can be difficult to work with when you are trying to record something specific.

You need admins to watch other perspectives and other nations instead of just posting your own perspective. A map with flags and borders would be good too. You can look at the more popular minecraft civlization videos and draw inspiration from them. Other than that, I still liked the video since we don't get enough of these

I’m sorry, but this feels very disingenuous as to what happened for much of the event. That ‘last nation’ was called Arkile, and I was one of the leaders of the group. We had a nearly 2:1 numerical advantage, and a massive fort. But then on Day 4, you guys started the event 3 hours early (at like 5:00AM in the US) without any warning, so we didn’t have half of our members online. Yet our army held and while our king died, the majority of our leadership survived while the attackers were almost entirely wiped out. Then the mods just cancelled the final day for no reason. I enjoyed partaking in the event and want to do it again, but I feel like this really misrepresented all the work me and 40 other people put into building the largest faction on the server (yet we didn’t even get called by name). Still, it was fun.

Aww i'm very sorry. we always try to choose times that cater to us as we need to be available and sadly most of all are all EU based and sorry for not including your nation so much is just not what i saw so i didnt know the full story! Hopefully it will be smooth in the next one! :D

@@RyanNotBrian This is so disappointing. Is it true you started EARLY? Like I get using times that make sense in the EU, but stick with your start times? The appeal of videos like this is that *anyone* could be a legit character. Not gonna lie, idc about the KZbinr- we care about the players and the stories the KZbin can weave with *the player’s* action. This just felt fake. I would have been more interested in OC’s nation’s story than yours tbh. I really hope that you focus more on the players/nations in the future.

@@jacob9673 Yeah, It was really annoying. I was in OC's nation, and we made so much lore, we had proper leadership, and i fell like we were the only people with a fleshed-out nation, So it was sad that we didn't even get called by name.

Advice for the next event. Spend more time day 1 recruting people your leadership really wasnt that bad aside from being happy with a 2 person nation in a 100 person serve LevelTundra shows that a decent amount of players were solo thats recruits lefts on the table !!

Like the idea but from the looks of the comments and watching the video it seems like a lot can be changed to make this better not just for the video but for the people who are playing not just for the sake of having it look better in a video but also for it to be more clear on what the goal of the game is (seems a lot thought it was a last man standing type game). Hope to see how this evolves. Also not sure if it was in purpose but you have a few spelling errors in the titles in the video.

I’m a bit salty, but I can’t be mad, I was on a team and I payed for the actions of my team despite having done no wrong. Guilty by association I suppose.

Just to clarify, I hold no grudge against anyone involved, neither against Ryan or his team, or against my own. I made the decision to be on that team and to not leave and I new the risks involved with both courses of action. I remained because I wanted to build something nice and figured that on the team I was part of I would have the greatest opportunity and amount of time to do so. I was also warned to run by my team but made the conscious decision to stay and build despite the approaching threat. For that reason, I have no anger or hatred for anyone involved and have only frustration for the situation and for letting my own faith influence my decision. (And for the record, although I had not done anything bad, I had infact assisted in the planning of certain activities, the structure I was building was meant to hide a secret prison to hold captured players, but I was slain before I could even finish the floor. So while I had no blood on my hands, I can’t claim I was entirely innocent as I was aware of what was occurring and was actively supporting those activities by building something to assist in the intended activities)

Really nice but.....ARKILE didn't get justice in this vid at all. We didn't even get called by name.... I was one of the leaders that survived, We were the biggest nation on the server with 50+ ppl if u include the deaths......We had a huge fort with a surplus of food armor and weapons... No hate to u Ryan, I know this wasn't intentional, but the vid was misrepresented and if the server was actually open for the 5 days, we would've definitely rose to the top... Great video though hope the next one goes a little smoother
