You don't have to do anything crazy to build a decent bank. Just play the game consistently. Slayer launched my account into and past the midgame when I played. Don't be afraid to use skilling methods that profit with skills you enjoy, and slam out the ones you don't. Get fairy rings asap as well teleport frames at 50(?) Construction. Salve graveyard is great for a quick fairy ring. Get the lunar spellbook for NPC contact, it helps a lot with slayer. Melee it, use prayer potions, learn what tasks profit, dont be afraid to cannon if a task is in multi and gives back atleast a little money. Gets you to the good tasks faster. You won't usually profit till 65+ but it doesn't take much of an initial investment to get to that point. Dscim, proselyte, best RFD gloves you have, Berserker helm, D boots, ardy cape, glory, warrior ring and a god book(for prayer bonus)/dragon defender is a cheap and decent starting setup with good prayer bonus. Upgrade your weapon when you earn money, i got to 91 slayer in proselyte with abby whip/dagger then eventually a mixture of abyssal bludgeon and barraging in cheapish gear in a few months. Ended up with something like 150m bank even after various skilling grinds for quests and getting 93 or 94 construction (cant remember) for a max house, plus the portal nexus, the pool, the altar and all that. Oh and get an herb sack and a seed box. Do your clues. Farming herbs is a great source of passive income, as are birdhouses. Those few things made me a decent bit of money. Quest quest quest and do your diaries as soon as humanly possible. It progresses you through the game so much, you unlock so much useful shit. Just play an hour or two a day, or more if you have time. Dont forget to take breaks too, burnout is real! You can get a lot more done in a year with persistence than you might think you can.
