So boi jotaro challenged me to make a 3d game, and obviously i aint gonna say no to an invitation from jotaro, so i got to work on my very first 3d game, using Unity. This is the first part, I'll make the next one soon enough. There was just too much footage to fit into one video. Anyway I had a ton of fun with this, and 3d is actually pretty fun.
The game is about parkour, pew pew, and physics. Regarding the movement, I might make a tutorial or upload on github or something when it's done. It's all done using forces and physics, so it's a very open and fun movement system! Anyway throw some more challenges at me cuz im ready boi

Dani's momentum and movement system is so good that he should polish it a bit and either put it in a competitive movement focused fps shooter like Apex legends, or he should let other people use it for a fee. That wallrunning momentum and the rocket jumps + the sliding is incredible. And the effects make you feel incredible.

Initial thoughts after playing this game: - Movement is fun once you get going, however there are some things which are frustrating with it, such as the wall-jumping whenever you press space next to a wall. This happened to me more unintentionally than intentionally. Also I think that movement while airborne should be a bit faster, especially laterally, as I have oftentimes missed a platform due to being just a smidge to the left or right of it. - I like the song choice, but after a while it gets a bit repetitive. I suggest maybe giving each level its own song. - Definitely needs more levels, but I know that's coming, so I eagerly await it's arrival Overall, a very promising game. I wanted to give feedback so you could possibly improve it if you want. Definitely a game which I enjoyed, even though there were some frustrating moments. Amazing work! EDIT: I also think you should include a quick-restart key bind, so you don't have to go into the pause menu to do so. Just for those who want to speedrun it ;) EDIT 2: The level "sandbox 2" really pissed me off, mostly because the shotgun was stuck in a place where it was more difficult to get to, in a sort of jungle-gym style area. If I made a mistake in the parkour run section, I had to go back and grab the shotgun again, instead of actually do the parkour. EDIT 3: I also think that the timer should slow down in the slo-mo sequences, for the sake of speedrunning (EDIT 5: This was stupid, leave timer the way it is) EDIT 4: Jeez, there are too many things I am forgetting to say. The grappling hook system is extremely intuitive and well-done, good work on that. I believe that is all I wanted to say. If not, there'll be even more edits

I played the game for around an hour, and it's really fun. I big fan of TF2 myself and I love the direction this game is going. I have two observations/suggestions, the first being that sliding can transfer into jumps and wall runs, it's cool but makes movement a little wonky. The second is that after you go into the air from anything, a jump, walk kick, or explosion, you seem to almost lose control of the direction of your character. You can only slowdown yourself down, and it makes technical jumps kinda difficult. I wished there was a way to air strafe, nothing crazy but enough for me to adjust my course before landing. It's frustrating to go through a technical section but only fail because your original trajectory was a bit off. I love me some good old TF2/Source strafing, but I understand it might be hard to add. Overall super cool game that I've had a lot of fun with just messing around. Keep up the good work.
