Concept: Balloon Boy is a tiny protector of people's homes. Something is giving random household objects life for the sole purpose of creating havoc and ruin. It's up to Balloon Boy to knock some sense into them and make these homes safe again. The actual house would belong to a family of four. Different rooms of the house would become platforming levels for Balloon Boy to traverse. The kitchen, for example, would be a hellish landscape of fire and metal, serving as a more dangerous level for the late game with its numerous hazards. And what better boss for this level than the microwave, with its ear-piercing noises and tendency to burn anything you put inside? The bedroom, assuming it belongs to a kid, would be a weird, wonderful world of toy minions, game boards, and bouncy platforming. Its boss would of course be a shapeshifting Lego monster. And the final area would be the dad's studio, where the deadliest of office supplies join forces to end Balloon Boy's life before he reaches the mastermind: the Computer, which threatens to annihilate him with sound waves (speakers), lasers (the mouse's tracking laser), and the most disturbing images on the Internet (through a projector). It's pretty silly, I know, but hey.
