I love both boxes. Beautiful and so unique! I would love to see a detailed video about how you created the hinge from the tube and wire. Do you have a video like that? Thanks so much!

I love them both! Beautiful pieces. 😍 The clear one is my favorite because of the green and red/pink glass combo.

How did you attach the hinge?
@touchglass_studio3 жыл бұрын
I used a copper tube and secured with some solder to the upper side of the box. Need some patience and back-and-forth to have it nice. Then run trough a copper wire and attach the ends to the lower box. Hope it helps! 🤞

What type of wire or rod did you use or recommend to use for the hinges??
@touchglass_studio4 жыл бұрын
I always using copper wire, because you can attach them to the lead. Maybe if you use any other metal, u can wrap it with copper foil. Let me know what works for you🥰

Thank you for the inspiring video! How long have you been doing glass work and how much would you say the materials amounted to for this project in particular? Also, I love that you had a snake patterned top to wear toward the end there ~

This time I was doing glass work for around 2 years. I would say one year of more regular practice made my hands secure:) huh, around 60$? But it sooo depends the type of glass you use! Thanks for your nice comment,have a great day!🥰
