How much time did this take? Can you do that without modern tools or electronics? Hand tools like the Ancients. These huge machines and diamond tools aren't in the history books

It took 12 hours to machine and another 7 hours to polish. I'm pretty sure I can do something like this with a hammer and chisel with some degree of accuracy. the only question is why. I really love the technologies of the past for their simplicity and genius. Many things still cannot be done without manual labor. But now you are writing to me on the computer and not sending me a letter.

@madeofstone7619 19 hours* with modern machines & temperature controlled rotation to keep blades from over heating. The question "why" here is the greater question at hand. With their era and non-electronic based supposed tools, why devote the time needed for basalt & granite in that specific era under those specific circumstances within reasonable time?

if you are talking about motivation. For example, the Egyptians believed that their current life was just a preparation for the next. and your next life directly depends on how well you serve God, that is, Pharaoh. That's why such amazing things were done - it was a way to earn a better place in the next life. I also work alone and want to be efficient. And there were definitely more Egyptians working on the product than me alone.😉@@malcomx-snowden-assange9673
