I still use that old 4 portal overworld farm that flicks the portals on and off repeatedly, its been insanely profitable in gold and xp.

There is another way that is more complicated if you want something fully AFK. Timer that activates piston crushers and then releases a potion of healing via a dropper. You can fully AFK and even prevent entity cramming in the zombie piglin storage area. Common tactic for fully auto blaze farms that I think works well here.

@vawqer1744 you have to use an afk pigman farm in combination with those to yeild good rates, my stone farm uses up a fully enchanted netherite pick in 7 min otherwise.

You cannot build above the neither roof in bedrock and bedrock doesn’t have sweeping edge either. Bedrock uses ticking nether portal gold farms and trident killers.

Since bedrock gold farms use trident killers, the update probably didn't affect them. Just build any recentish bedrock gold farm and you'll be golden

Don't think so, since that farm just gets them to aggro the piglins, who are then transported to the player who kills them with the sword, so they'll be getting the xp and gold ingots regardless.
