AMAZING VIDEO ,but ngl, the character you use is great but it taking a big part of the screen is kinda distracting ,maybe make it smaller ,keep the good work 👍👍

it wastes a lot of space, agreed

Also the background being light gray really pops... A darker background and maybe an outline might make it better

Couldnt you have done collisions the old style way without unity built in colliders? Just check if the cube position + x (length from cube center to side) is equal to the collided object's position + y (length from collided object's ceter to side) And if that doesnt work you could just check if they are very near and the cube's vector is pointing towards the collided object (so the collision would technically detect like 0.01 seconds before it actually happens)

I don't know why I put myself through the torture of playing the game with a trackball, but I cleared your game in 44.62 seconds (327.30 seconds including planning).

funny game it was interesting i took 150 seconds to finish the game i had luck on the diagonal level but didn't won the first time the hardest was the level with surrounding squares i just preshot and wait for the square to be at the right place. Never played a game with organic sound effect and music. Also it's like you put some humour in the level. Some levels didn't played like i thought and it was suprising

I wonder if this would be better or worse with touch screen. The finger occlusion would def make it harder but maybe there’s some fun in that

Have you experimented with making the green box the mouse pointer thus skipping the part where the player has to pick it up first?

Great video! Enjoyed seeing your process and it was really well explained with the design constraints and moving into actual implementation. keep it up :)

Why did you do this in 3d?? Unity has a built in 2D mode, you really didn't have to do this at all
@samuelleigh22706 ай бұрын
That's just how unity works, all game objects technically exist in 3d space.
@aqua-bery6 ай бұрын
@@samuelleigh2270 really? I thought unity just had a 2d mode that also has built in collisions. I still don't understand why you had to use the line casts and ray casts lol
