Thanks for the tips! I’ve been wanting to buy these shoes for a while but still can’t decide on the color-they both look great. I’m leaning toward the black pair, but it seems to have glossy leather, unlike the brown’s more rustic finish, so I’m unsure how the black will age. I’m a big fan of Vivo and generally wear the Tracker ESC for all rural and hiking activities. I’ve also the Primus Trail Knit and the Gobi. The Gobi Chelsea you bought your partner is a good urban boot though I wish they’d put a Michelin sole on it to enhance the grip!

I have Scott 4 and I love them. It’s a bit slippery but it’s ok for city. But I don’t like that insole because it’s dying brith color socks. I’ve worn them for one season and they look the same as when I bought them.

That's great to hear that yours have kept the same in regards to the look, sounds like you have taken care of them! The upper really is great. It is a shame about that grip but they are a great city boot for dry winter days!

Its not great that any of the rubber came away from the leather irrespective of the fact they’re stitched…you’d never get that after one wash with meindl traditional hiking boots for example…for the price Vivo need to be exemplary in their construction…I have 3 vivo models and the jury is still out for durability
