After this duel watching Rhyme, I now understand the people that yell at the TV when their sports team make stupid plays 😆. The correct play at 4:40 was to summon tsukoyomi, flip the Captain down, attack it, activate magical dimension, summon a spellcaster, pop the swordsman/goblin and attack the defense mode goblin or swordsman

Couldn't he have also flipped goblin attack force face down to attack that instead? Then he could've magical dimensioned the marauding captain and attack the third card, board wiped?

@@stevenroche263 Unfortunately no. He had to flip the captain down because tsukoyomi only has 1100 atk and if captain is face up he had to attack it. So he could only destroy 2 monsters if he did what you suggested instead of 3 monsters.

Honestly, Rhyme's hand in those first two games were cracked. Magical Dimension at 4:20 would have cleaned the field, then at 14:20, Call of the Haunted for Apprentice Magician, then AM for Magician of Faith could have led to a decent spell loop with Tsukuyomi/Swords of RL/MoF. Might not have been enough to claim wins anyway, but just shows how spicy those structures can be.

Ikr? Spellcaster's Judgement does have some drawbacks, like the boss monster needing DM to even come out, and Dark Magic Attack, and your only option to summon DM is Magical Dimension or stall with swords/cage/apprentice to tribute for him (Skilled actually activating happens one in 4 games at best). So you're already playing a bit brickier than some others, but Rhyme did have some plays still that he missed. But hey, it's an old deck he's playing for the first time xD
