its better to ride off road in order to learn all the technical aspects without cars and trucks around... Lavi will be a much better biker when she begins any serious road travel... and it is her choice too... and if its fun then do it...

@@stephensmith1118 - both have their dangers but the chances of falling are much higher offroad. She is being pulled into something due to her young age, without fully understanding the consequences of her inexperience. Many people have had serious spinal, knee injury due to apparently silly falls and stuff like that can be life changing and not worth a utube channel. She should have had at least 1 year offroad training and experience on a proper bike with proper tyres before attempting this...all this done without the pressure of having to perform for a camera and without a schedule (learning to ride offroad takes time and repeating things on a familiar terrain only helps). They are both inexperienced riders who spend way too much time horizontally than they should and this is also due to having chosen the wrong instrument to get the job done. Telling them to keep bashing forward with a circus act is IMO being part of the problem and I would rather avoid her getting impaled by some branch or falling off some cliff or breaking bones. Ps: I talk from the perspective of an offroad rider...and she could be my daughter in terms of ages. I wish them the best but it is way too risky.

Exiting ruts were my nemesis on that course I did.... Seems you can't just turn into them as the tyre chews into the wall of the rut, goes sideways and down you go. The only way out is to pop the front up in the air slightly so it hops up onto the top.... I never managed it 😂 Dale

I disagree. I have many miles on a VanVan.the tires and low seat height help in the mud. Lower pressure and new tires would help.

Love the new season you pair of nutters. One tip is when in a rut stay in the rut, it is easer than trying to cross from one side to the other and less chance of falling off.

Loving this. You're both showing how much fun you can have on little bikes. The VanVans are not trail bikes and you don't have knobblies but you're still fighting your way through and it's great to see Lavi's daily improvement. A little (non riding) tip. In future roll as much Duct Tape as you think you might need onto a pencil. It takes up a fraction of the space of a whole roll of tape.😊

I left England for the “sun” a long time ago, because of rain and mud. You have my admiration for undertaking this awful “Trail”. I am sure there is some wonderful scenery (especially he further north you go) - when it’s not raining, but this is England, it’s generally cold and almost always raining and any track off the bitumen is a mud hole. Good luck, I really admire your tenacity and I hope the Track improves.

It's never been there, but I would walk this section keeping the bike on the very edges.

@@Oldguy-k3t the best way to get through sketchy sections is the way that works best for you! I'd prod the mud with a stick and then, if satisfied it wasn't stupidly deep, get a good run up and plough through it with some decent momentum 😅
