Will moss and ferns really be able to grow on such a background of foam with just a little coco peat? I would think the foam goes too hard?

They are weed in tropical country, I guess by adding some Urea into the water from time to time can provide some nutrient to the plant

I keep the rain system on for Few minutes to 5 hours max a day.

It's working fine, plants are healthy. I don't keep the pump on for more than 5 hours a day.

Thanks. You can keep Tiny frogs, lizards or crabs. But you cannot keep the pump on for too long
