I really loved Barney as a wee kiddo, and wasn't one of the ones that became hyper aggressive about the show when they hit their preteens. I wasn't watching it, but I had many fond memories and still held a pretty strong affection for it. That said, BJ was absolutely the _worst_ and I'm happy to see him getting what he deserves. Also Barney's looking rad af, love it.

7:26 - Another way to make Scale Textures is to get a toy dinosaur or reptile (if you have one), and make an inprint of it on a stamp or roller. It's easier than using a ball stylus, although some Dinosaur toys will have more or less realistic textures than others. EDIT: 10:19 - This works for Dinosaurs like Tyrannosaurus whose "proto-fuzz" still hasn't evolved into true feathers yet, but if you do a Velociraptor (which *did* have true feathers), the best option is to make a texture roller/stamp using a toy bird (or a feathered dinosaur if you have one). The only downside is that it won't actually be fuzzy.

Hey man!! I really appreciate what you did for the dinos, they look great!! The T-Rex should have round pupils, like other large predators. Tigers and wolves have them, too. Slit pupils are really used for seeing through grass, and mostly are found in smaller predators that are low to the ground. The hands especially look fantastic, thank you so much for making them accurate. Also love the addition of the fur, it's probably not too far from the reality of them having small feathers! Overall absolutely fantastic!!

Agreed to all of this! The only things I would add would be giving him proper lips, and scales. We’ve found multiple skin imprints of T. Rex that have scales, but perhaps this is a juvenile Barney, which possibly could have had downy feathers? 👀👀

BY THE POWER OF GREYSKULL!! this is so nice! I’m glad he made Barney’s wrists pronated (the term for when a dinosaur’s wrists and hands face inwards as opposed to downwards like most of Jurassic World’s dinosaurs). This project turned out brilliantly, well done ! :) Whenever I want to ad a bit of a gravelly texture ti a project, I mix dried coffee grounds with the paint. It gives a great texture and it recycles used coffee grounds :)

I rarely comment, and I'm usually very content to see Adam do what he does best and leave it at that but, if he were to ever replicate any of his creations for resale--I would buy this in a *heartbeat*. I want this one SO BAD. I loved Barney as a child and took a huge interest in dinosaurs in school and this just makes me inexplicably happy for some reason😂
