I really enjoyed this. First time watching. What about making false bases? It looks like someone else's base that has already been conquered. It has multiple breaches so really ransacked but there is a hidden entrance to your base in the fake base. Also what about creating trap fake bases? You booby trap a decoy base, simple tunnel through mountain, you lure people to your trap, thinking it's your base...

Find a cave or somewhere with a lava pool, dig under the lava pool, make a base under the lava pool then the block just above you put a sign and it will stop the lava from getting in the base so u can go in! Just jump in the lava and then under the sign put water then another sign under that so u jump in the lava then land in the water, nobody will expect that

If you do one of these single episode things w/ Twin, I recommend the hidden minecart entry for a base. Then you can use the pistons to make a door to escape. Just a suggestion, but I would consider it.

Shoulda just built the base 1 block beside the cactus instead of right underneath the cactus. People can see you place cactus when you are even out of render distance the cactus still renders but not you yourself. So it makes it easier to see when you place the cactus. Plus if you are in the base the cactus isn't there so if someone goes by there then comes back and sees 3 cactus stalks instead of 2 they will know somethings up. lol

Tbh the best place for a base is in the sand temple. Hook up a redstone door to the pressure plate because any experienced player will know that if you step on the you will explode. That iniates a reverse psychology to make them possibly even break the pressure plate and keep moving, thus your base will not be found

Tip: Jump and on your way down hit for critical hits, your gonna get destroyed by someone if not. I recommend shielding and jump while shielding and then hit and it’s more efficient and you take less damage.
