I use store bought air dry clay which you can find at any craft or toy shop.
When making your sculpture, Wait for each layer/part to dry especially when sculpting small details. It's much easier to control, shape and spread the clay when you sculpt in layers/parts.

This was so incredibly wonderful to watch. I am wanting to experiment with air dried clay and I have a love for all things dark and creepy. I could lose myself making such things. Thank you so very much for showing your process and giving me so much inspiration. You are wonderful at what you do ☺️💜 thank you! May I ask, what is it that you are using on the tree that is black but brushes off easily with the brush, leaving a thin “film” of black behind? And also what brand of paints are you using? Thank you, glad you liked watching this video. I first applied black acrylic paint on the tree before the other colors. I use acrylic paint from different brands, nothing specific really. Just whatever I can find at the store. 😊

Your creations are amazing. I’m just starting out and I’m so intimidated. You make it look like it’s so easy. Do you have any videos explaining your process? Like when to wet clay and so on. What kind of clay do you use? Thanks in advance

Thank you! I use air dry clay. modelling clay by 'Home Deco' to be specific. It's similar to Das air dry clay which is more well known. My videos are all just about me showing how I created these projects, without voice over, unfortunately. I dab a bit of water on the surface before I cover it with / attach the clay. When I want to attach clay on wood, I smear a bit of wood glue on the wood before sticking the clay to it. When making your sculpture, wait for each layer/ part to dry before adding more clay. It's much easier to control, shape and spread the clay when you sculpt in layers/parts. Use a paint brush to wet dried clay with water before attaching fresh clay to it.
