This is such a lovely soap! As a little bit of trivia, star fragments are based on a small Japanese candy called "konpeito". Nintendo really likes putting konpeito-inspired objects in their games, as you said in Zelda but also the star bits in Mario Galaxy for example

Thank you, I'm so excited! I'm a Scorpio and my sister is a Sagittarius. I love the star fragments in the game and Celeste is my favorite Animal Crossing character. THE PERFECT SOAP! Please do a series for the fragments! You could even do their recipe with each zodiac fragment! Like have a star fragment imbed and an imbed for that zodiac's item or the recipe card for that item!

I've been saving this soap, but I opened it earlier this week because I knew that I needed some celestial beauty in my life. I bought the Creature Comforts collection without getting the chance to watch any of these videos, and I'm kind of ashamed to admit I didn't notice any of the glitter in the frosting until I was showering YESTERDAY! Today I re-noticed the glitter, and I knew I needed to come here to see how that happened, since I know Katie's said, over and over again, that biodegradable glitter doesn't do survive cold-process soap. I should have guessed that it was mica! I love this bar so so much.

Little fun facts here, but in addition to LoZ having Star fragments, there are "Star Bits" in Mario Galaxy 1 and 2. No kidding, but they are based on a Japanese candy callde Konpeito! Also, that is adorable. Just adorable.

I have no experience in soap making but I wonder what it would look like. When pouring the accent colors to pour it in a straight line up and then when going down, doing a squiggle line over it. Love the collection 😍 star fragments are my favorite new feature in ACNH.

This video is two years old but my husband just got me one of this soap, along with 2 artisan soaps, 1 diamond soap, and 1 shampoo bar. He intended them to be the Christmas presents but apparently shipping went so much faster than expected so I received them today. This is from the animal crossing wiki. The star shaped candy also appears in Ghibli movies, I specifically remember it being fed to the soot sprites in Spirited Away. A local asian market sells them and they are so delicious and such an amazing texture. I just call them star candies.
