We had a 5-night stay in a 1 Bedroom Villa just like yours at Saratoga Springs in May of 2024. We fell in love with the resort! We've stayed at OKW and Boardwalk before, which we also enjoyed, but the room at Saratoga felt so luxurious. We had a gorgeous view, and it was about a 15 minute pleasant walk to Disney Springs from the Paddock area. That walk went from pleasant to magical at night. I almost dont want to rave and because Saratoga is still sort of a little secret. 😊 The grounds are gorgeous, the staff is amazing, the pools are just the best, and we can't wait to stay here again! Thanks Dev! And sorry about your little mishap!

I stayed there back in the 90’s when the Disney Institute was there. As a teenager at the time I was able to take animation, cooking, topiary, television production, rock wall climbing classes. It was the BEST. There was also a restaurant, I think it was called seasons, and it was family style with others…big round tables that sat 12-14 guests with lazy Susan in the middle. I just remember the food being super tasty and fresh. I’ve been back a couple times and always go to the Senses Spa…but I think it’s currently closed.

Dev, We recently stayed at Saratoga Springs in a one bedroom villa and thoroughly enjoyed it. The rooms are very spacious and well laid out. We have been DVC members for 20 years. Each resort at Disney World has unique offerings. We really like Copper Creek villas. It is quiet and has great walks. Easy to get to all the parks and the rooms are outstanding. The big difference between DVC villas are regular Disney rooms is the kitchen. The kitchens allow you to get food and drinks delivered directly to the hotel. Because all the villas come with a large fridge, you can have a weeks works of groceries. Cuts down on costs and really enhances the vacation.

Saratoga Springs is one of the better resorts for DVC members. Was there this Labor Day weekend and haven’t been staying there since 2018 and dam, missed how it was like with the nice balcony and walking distance to Disney Springs. Fortunately I’m staying at Saratoga Springs again on the 13th-15th for one of my best friend’s birthday and doing HHN that weekend too.

I wish I could make these theme parks, but because I have a slight condition and it is expensive and crowded there and not able to afford it but again through your videos, I get a glimpse of what I’m missing. My wife and I spent whole week at sartoga springs in a one bedroom and will never ever stay in anything less and had the most relaxing time there than any other dvc in a villa and I don’t understand why people hate on sartoga springs I tell people don’t sleep on and we love the close proximity to Disney springs

Sarasota is one of my home resorts. My family and I like walking to the Springs, love the Turf Club and Artist Pallette. Having been to Saratoga Springs in New York, I am disappointed in the architecture. The buildings look like paddocks ( stables). In Saratoga, NY the buildings are Victorian with gingerbread trim. The Disney artists could have added those touchs to the buildings to look unique. I do like the renovations with the Murphy beds. So much more comfortable than the sofa beds. While my family likes Old Key West best, we like Saratoga because family members that need scooters have access to elevators in all buildings. The pools are nice. The smaller ones are mire quiet and have snack bars so you can use your walk ups on the dining plan as you sunbathe and the food is diverse with soda fountains open for drinks. You can't go wrong with this resort. Sorry to hear the spa is closed. I always enjoyed a massage and/or pedicure. The relaxation room was so peaceful and the whirlpool bath was a bonus.

We stayed on the Paddock side, close to the pool during Memorial Day week 2015. Our place was dated but I'm glad yours was updated. Highly recommend Saratoga Springs Resort and Spa.

When SS first opened I stayed there and was not a fan. It was too sprawling and took the bus forever to get to our stop. However, many years later, it became one of my favorite resorts. I love being able to walk to Disney Springs for a morning treat and watching the turkey's on the grounds in the early mornings.

We've been DVC members at Saratoga Springs for over 17 years. We absolutely love it. It's our favorite resort. The pictures over the king bed are vintage photos of the real Saratoga Springs NY with the characters added in. We almost always stay in The Grandstand. I do love a fairway view.

We’ve stayed at SSR twice. I didn’t think much of it the first time. It was a few years back when my son was a baby. It was a last minute extended weekend trip and it was the only available studio room. I’m not sure why I booked it again about 3 years ago but this time we had a 1br for a week and we enjoyed it much more. I think we stayed in the same building you did. It was great being so close to the pool and splash pad area with 3 kids under 10.

I've stayed there many times and I love it. My favorite is the Poly, and Beach Club, I only go every three years. I'll divide my time between all three resorts. That way, my only bus trip is to Animal Kingdom.

I’ve been a DVC member since 2002 and have stayed at Saratoga Springs on three separate stays. Although it is a beautiful resort, my chances of a stay there again are slim. Every single stay, someone in the family has gotten sick. Including my son getting pneumonia one time. The HVAC system in the buildings closest to Disney Springs needs to be completely cleaned. I have photos of dust filled grates and vents from a stay at the Congress Park villas. Have also stayed at the Paddock and the Grandstand, the Paddock was by far the cleanest with the HVAC, but still had dusty (as it was caked on) vent grates. Not sure if this was addressed in the refurbishment, didn’t really notice in your video. The rooms do look a heck of a lot better than my last visit which was back in 2017. Of all the DVC properties, the one I have the most experience with it the Boardwalk Villas. Over the years I watched the resort being built as I used to stay directly across the lake at Disney’s Yacht Club prior to purchasing DVC. My family and I have stayed at every DVC resort on Walt Disney World property (except the Polynesian) and also Hilton Head Island Resort. I can recommend staying at Boardwalk, Old Key West, Beach Club, Grand Floridian, and Riviera. All are fine resorts and other than Old Key West are extremely convenient to a theme park. The Wilderness Lodge is a great resort, but transportation to the theme parks takes a while. The same applies to Animal Kingdom Lodge. Both are great for vacationing outside the theme parks. Old Key West probably has the most spacious rooms of all the DVC properties, but is out of the way and transportation is a bit slow due to the many stops (like Saratoga Springs) within the resort. It is another great spot away from the theme parks. Looking to move back to Orlando within the next five years, so this will probably end up being more for visitors…or I could get “add-on itis” as the folks over at the DVC Show say. We’ll see.

I’m a DVC member and I’ve stayed at Saratoga Springs several times, in both the old rooms and the new refurbished rooms (which are incredibly nice), but being from the Northeast, I’d rather stay somewhere with a more tropical feel when I’m on vacation. Saratoga Springs is only one of two Disney resorts that has no palm trees (the other being Wilderness Lodge). So I generally stay at Saratoga Springs when there is no DVC availability elsewhere. Also, as an aside, Artist’s Palate has the best pizza on property.

I stayed here 2 years ago and my goodness it was like a ghost town there - me and a few others we got lost. We ended up in this area where there was tree houses, and bats at night over the golf course and we came across some area where the tree houses were that had a boat that took you to the springs, a humongous property, very peaceful and quiet but big

I believe just about every room here has been renovated. It’s been great for 2 adults and one child plus we have had people over and it’s still more than enough room.
