Very 'Meatloaf' Andrew! All together now........🦇🔥 The perfect setting for the BatmoBeetle........very nicely done 👌🏻🇨🇦👍🏻🇬🇧👏🏻🇨🇭

Thanks, Jack! I actually had 9 seconds of Bat Out Of Hell playing during the reveal but got flagged by KZbin (thought I could use less than 10 seconds), so I took the video down, went back to editing, took it out, and put in some organ music and screams and uploaded again. Disappointing, as it was the perfect clip for the Batmobeetle bursting out of the ground in a graveyard. Oh well... Question: what do you do with these huge things once you're all done with them?! 🍁☕️🤣

I've been anxiously waiting for this diorama build ever since you said the Batmobeetle would be making an appearance...and you certain did not disappoint! It's an absolutely wonderful diorama. I can't believe I'm saying this, but my favorite part isn't the Batmobeetle as I expected...but the gargoyles. I love gargoyles and possibly the only thing keeping me from having them mounted around the house is the fear of neighbors either (a) coming for me with torches and pitchforks, or (b) stealing them lolol Fantastic Andrew!
@MapleLeafCustoms5 күн бұрын
Thanks, Jim. A graveyard absolutely needs gargoyles, if it's going to be spooky. I actually have a good sized one in my home office, which I bought at a shop right outside of Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris. I'm a fan too, though that's the extent of my collection! 🍁☕️

I had no idea that you used styrofoam as a base, Andrew! There’s a benefit to be able to spike everything down, but such a large piece would worry me to no end. So brittle! But wow did you make it sing! Your amount of detail and layering to build up to the finished product was worth it, down to the last sparingly placed fallen leaf. It’s great to see the BatmoBeetle as the star of the show, but there’s so many little moments. The crows are a win, as are the gargoyles. But yeah, I’m still a huge fan of the police tape. And, of course, the wonderful tribute to Paul, who pushed us to push ourselves. All the best to you in the competition, and to you and Petra as well, from me and mine in Virginia USA.

Wow, looks fantastic how many hours did you spend on it, cheers Graham
@MapleLeafCustoms7 күн бұрын
Thanks, Graham. Not as many hours as you'd think. After all the 3D printing was done, the project took a week to complete, which is what I usually spend on a car. There was some overnight drying sessions with all the glue/water solution that I used. Painting each tombstone and the stone walls several times each for an aged effect took the longest. Fun times though. 🍁☕️
