I like your dry humour. You had me laughing a lot 😅 If this was just a test for video editing, you've done really well. You would probably have an audience, whichever subject you chose. The DIY PC case videos, (or DIY anything) always get a lot of attention because not only are they useful and inspirational to people looking for ideas, but, for a lot of other people, it's actually just therapeutic to watch someone else engaged in creating something. A lot of the viewers probably have no intention to reproduce the DIY, but still watch because it's good entertainment.

This is really a piece of art! Resembles the looks of a pre-transistor radio! Beautiful! I came here 'cause I just finished the structural part of a wood case for an old PC, too, and I'm searching ideas for finishing it. My approach was completely diverse, 'cause I was looking just for a functional way of fitting the PC under my shop's table, ocuppying so little space as possible. I was in doubt if I would paint it with a can of spray paint (orange, just like an airplane's flight recorder) or if I woild taint the wood. Because of your project I will save myself from the orange monster. I'll somewhat recycle your idea of the framed dust filter. But mine is so ugly that I'm ashamed just of talking about it. ;-)
