Imagine an anti-cheat system where exploiters are sent into a room where they have to write a formal apology letter with a 250 minimum word count. Then when they send the apology letter, the game displays a message saying "not sincere enough... try again?" and then those letters are displayed on a leaderboard ranked from most sincere to least sincere.

I feel like if you want to troll the cheater you should teleport them to a different place because some cheats can see the classes of stuff even if they dont have the name, that way you can ensure they dont cheat in the game and still get trolled

You can just have a backed up local script saved in the server, issue it to clone and activate upon detecting enough red flags and after doing so, using it in PlayerGui, instantly activating torture (usually to make sure everyone has fun, remember to clone as many as humanly possible. Clone the local script from itself and crash the player) Additionally, you could just teleport them away and do whatever in a new place, but that's up to yall.

Yo, can I give you a challenge? I don't know if it’s possible in Roblox because it doesn't support most stuff, but can you make a teleportation system that just freezes the player, copies their screen (like a screenshot), covers their screen with it, and sends that screenshot to the other game where the player gets teleported? Then, the other game uses it to replace the teleport loading GUI (like it shows that before it). After that, it slowly fades, glitching away, so it gives a lobotomy vibe. I just want to see if it’s possible. It would be good for anti-cheat too.

I don't agree with your view that it's bad for anticheats to be 'boring'. That's.. kind of the point. Cheaters are typically ruining the enjoyment for others, why should their punishment be 'fun'? That just encourages repeat offences. The goal of any anticheat is to try and dissuade someone from cheating, prevent it before it starts.

im not a professional and have never tried or done this but i think ik how to hide a local script from a hacker, if you put the local script into serverstorage and clone it into the players scripts using a serverscript then destroy it (inside the local script after everything you wanna do inside the localscript), itd only pop up on the client for however long the script is running, which would be impossibly hard for hackers to edit depending on if theres waits or anything in the localscript, not completely hidden but i think itd be hard to edit, if you wanted to make it uneditable you could also make it destroy and clone the localscript every frame so that the script contents is reset, comment if you want me to explain further what i mean and ill try to explain it more cause ik i probably didnt explain it in the best way i could

okay the thing is if an exploiter were to use a script like DarkDex they could see the classname of the object to find the color correction, Plus the local script can be deleted and client lighting settings can be reset pretty easily. Actually screw that simply deleting the color correction locally would make that local script throw errors. Yeah you did add pcall but that's just if it can't do something, change it's name to nothing. That's not gonna fix it. Maybe add a pcall to check if colorcorrection or other lighting elements got deleted and recreate them, tho the localscript can again still be found and deleted.

wouldnt it be possible to have the anticheat code in the same script as some basic game logic, and then attempt to obfuscate it? I don't know if obfuscated code in games is against roblox TOS, but it'd make it harder to just delete the anticheat

​@@Jukecallaaa That might not work too. Again, Dark Dex. It can see a script's content. Then what they can do is disable that script, and run one without the anticheat, unless you obfuscated the whole thing or parts of the game logic, but that would make the code hard to debug and maintain

5:35 Crashing the cheater's computer is ethically not better than cheating in the game itself, you're going down the same level of degeneracy as the cheater. That's why I don't like Camomo_10 giving BSoD to cheaters, as he'sn't elaborating on whether it's just a texture that blocks all controls of the client, or if it's an actual BSoD, which should be illegal to be intentionally causing such problems, in my opinion. It's like 2B2T, that server has no rules, except when the server itself is the target, then there're rules, like no lag machines, or anything that can cause the server to break. In that regard, DDoS attacks are also illegal, and they use the same method, but from an outside perspective.

You can attach an animation object when they spawn (using :clone() and parenting it to the player) You can detect when the player spawns by using game:GetService("Players").CharacterAdded:Connect(function() end) Then when the player holds the tool (using tool.equipped:connect(function() end) My scripting isn't good, but I could help you Reply if u need more help ;)
