Spelunkery is the one adding the prismarine in oceans! iirc you can make custom versions of the generation method with datapacks too

lesson learned lol, the only thing keeping me alive during that was a "vampiric glove" artifact which was healing me when i killed some of them

I always wing it in survival to design stuff. Though in create I have used the scematicannon to bring a lot of builds from the previous server we played on as it was a steam punk base.

If I have an idea or it’s a create farm, schematic. If I have no plan or idea, survival

If you have quark you can craft a trowel which can randomize the blocks you place in your hotbar

Crops don't grow because chunkloading ≠ random ticks, which crops, cauldrons and other growing things use. I _think_ mod/chunk-loaders on modrinth _should_ do randomticks unless you have ServerCore installed (found that one out the painful way by my steam engine dying due to no lava :c )

I tend to do a bit of both. Large builds or frequently used builds, such as a specific iron farm, or a large scale factory, I'll tend to plan out more in creative. Smaller builds though, like the farmhouse you built here or a starting tree farm, I usually just build as I go.

No schematic cannon for builds, sometimes for compact farms and stuff but not for builds. It just destroys the aspct of building

Same. Large builds and showcase builds I'll plan out in creative, then Schematicannon them in (or annoyingly repetitive builds, like bridges and tunnels) but for one-offs or smaller scale builds, I'll just wing it. I'll even combine the two, load up a schematic, place the overlay and then hand place the blocks (if there's a particular build I want, but in a different palette)

i bet when you build a rail network, you could get away with it being underground like the old metropolitan lines and uses the 0-4-0t engines to move items and passengers, if you find a desert, you could use a husk for drivers

Both methods of building have their good points. Kind of like you said, it depends on how you feel at the time. I'll put something together in creative, maybe just to see how I like an idea. Then in survival I'll alter the idea as I go because maybe I though it would look better with a different pallet, or maybe I want it to move better against the existing terrain.

hi i watched ur steam engine tutorial and im new in ark i built it in my survival world idont really get how steam engine work or how to connect them in a machine and if try to connect a machine in the vertical gearbox it keeps getting overstress does ehmm idont rlly get it in the tutorial u set the rotation thing to max when i reduce it it works with the machine does this js mean i need more like machine to use the full of the steam engine?
