I MADE AN ORGANISER FOR MY LOEWE BASKET BAG! | £7.50 CREATIVE SOLUTION!!

I needed an organiser for my Loewe Basket bag and although I found some online, I either didn't like them or found that the shipping costs meant they were a higher price than I was prepared to pay. So I turned to my pattern making and sewing skills to create my own and here is the result!! Felt cost = £7.50, my time and expertise cost = priceless as they say!!

That's amazing! Well done 😲 I'd love to be this creative...I'm needing a few organisers, but there's no way I'm spending upwards of £50 on them...for a bit of felt! 😡 I got one from H.A for my medium classic flap, it cost over £60! But that included a chain protector too.

Thanks! I think some prices for organisers are reasonable but there are some very expensive ones out there and when you add on postage it starts to get a bit pricey! I don’t mind paying a bit more for a really expensive bag like the classic flap as you did, but when the organiser is getting close to a third or half as much as the bag itself then it gets a bit silly 🤨

WOW! Great work babe, it looks fabulous! I do like a bag organiser for my bigger or squishier bags and always use Handbag Angels, but if I could make my own... 😉👏🏼

Thanks! It was very fiddly and time consuming so I would struggle to find the time to always make my own - but it was very satisfying and rewarding to create one myself. And I’ve been using it in the bag at the beach this week and it’s held up ok 👍🏼😊

Your organizer turned out perfect! Excellent job!! I understand how much time these things can take as I use to sew, started at a young age too, and now will use my sewing machine on occasion for repairs/alterations but hoping to get back into it. Thanks! I used to make cushions and soft toys years ago, then I startled making collectible mohair teddy bears. But these days I don’t have a lot of time so just only get the sewing machine out when I have repairs to do or want to attempt something special like this! 😊

I have been hunting for a liner for the Loewe basket also and like you I’ve been a bit put off by the pricing of what I could find on line. I have a sewing machine and had wondered about attempting something myself or just finding something generic on Amazon xx

As you can get felt quite cheaply it’s probably worth having a go. I really didn’t know how mine would turn out and I was pleasantly surprised that it actually fitted and has worked!! 😊

When I bought my Loewe basket bag I got it for just over £300 but even so it is still a lot for a basket bag. I only use it in summer as well so I don’t get as much use out of it as I would like. Having the liner meant I have used it more but with hindsight I probably would have been better to have bought a cheaper basket bag dupe 🤔 The Loewe one is very good quality though and it does look more substantial than others I’ve seen 😊
