Faking the TV wires with wires actually going to the TV for practical reasons is genuine genius problem-solving. Simultaneously faking the TV wires, using the actual TV wires? Come on dude, that's sick. Also, frosting the Perspex to diffuse the light is also incredibly intelligent and resourceful. I do wish the light strips were a cool white to emulate the blue light of a TV but the warm white fits the warm and cosy aesthetic of Sesame Street anyway so it works fine.

Fun fact: when I was a kid I used to be terrified of puppets, Elmo included. This is literally my childhood nightmare. I'm glad this released now, because if I saw this as a kid I wouldn't be sleeping for at least a day or two.

Some of them at least, if we’re not counting eating bugs as being a full on predator. I believe the general reason is so they can submerge themselves while keeping their eyes above water, but that’s usually used for waiting for prey to walk by, so it’s probably still a predatory evolutionary tactic.
