I don't know how FIFA's rating system works...but what I do know is that the rating for the 6 major stat categories (pace, shooting, passing, dribbling, defending, & physical) doesn't really reflect the overall rating of the player. That's why if all the stats of a player is equal to the max potential of the player, some players' overall will be higher than their actual max potential. Anyways...GREAT VIDEO BFORD!!!

I have a feeling this is gonna get lost in the huge sea of comments, but I just wanted the chance to let you know that I’ve enjoyed your other videos covering this idea of players starting at full potential but how the stats worked (with them all being the same value) kinda bugged me. Well, I did some testing on my own copy of FIFA, and I discovered that (for the most part) if you add a players potential growth to each of their stars (their potential minus their rating) then you’ll end up with that player hitting their potential. For example, if you add 8 to all of Saka’s stats he’ll go from 80 to 88. It’s not entirely realistic, since a center backs finishing wouldn’t grow at the same rate as their tackling or a winger’s interception stat at the same rate as their dribbling, but I thought it was at least close enough, and I was wondering if it’d be possible to make a mod that does this for all players (I play on XBOX, so I have to do it manually for all players 😔). Thank you if you took the time to read this!!
