I love a big mac but one slice of cheese is unacceptable to me. So i add extra cheese and sometimes extra mac sauce if i want a messy one. What you made there looks amazing and for the price even better and i don't mind a little bit of cooking. I will make one soon and follow your mac sauce recipe 😋

The Big Mac onions are rehydrated dehydrated choppef onions. Buy the dehydrated chopped onion in the spice section and rehydrate them in a bit of water in the microwave for that unique Big Mac onion taste. They taste significantly different than a freshly chopped onion.

Have worked at maccas, perhaps there's a soaking before they come to the store. But the fast food workers just get them from the bag frozen and stick them in the deep fry.

one of my favourite home made burger sauces is Tartare sauce and Ketchup (equal amounts and a liberal squirt of American mustard, might try a bit of smoked paprika tho next time. Simple easy and tasty. personally i perfer it to McD's sauce cos it tastes a bit more like Wimpy's which was the GOAT

use xanthan gum in your milkshakes and blend, it'll thicken it right up and stay thick :)

I am quite new to your channel an I have managed to watch nearly every video you have posted in space of like 2 days roughly, I went on bit of a binge haha, I would like to see more of your dog though cos that would make the video way better lol, in the future you can buy the burger sauce in like sainsburys etc which is like big mac sauce, just incase you cant be arsed making it from scratch everytime lol.Also fr the milkshake, you could buy a carton of strawberry milk for less than £1 ish an just add ice cream, just incase the strawberries are too expensive. Can i ask what is that blue water bottle by the sink? is it the one you use for the dog when your out on a walk an you can give the dog water?

A great video, but, as you can't by one slice of cheese, a small amount of onion, a small amount of mayo and so on, if you only had £8 for one meal, it's not much use that per portion your burger is cheaper. It did look good though, amd definitely going to try soaking homemade fries in brine.

Hi Sam, Love the dry delivery. Now down to maths. Mince can be anywhere from 5-30% fat and it's the fat that melts away when the burger is cooked. inexpenisve mince is often 20% so if you want to end up with 32 grams (sure it wasn't ounces) make it 40. I hope thisis useful Sam. I enjoy your videos. All the best, Jacques Mexico if it were me with so much meat I would exaggerte and then cut it down to size.

Kfc chicken!! There's an episode of snack wars (think its a bbc show) where professional chefs try to recreate it. One chef gets incredibly close to the herbs and spices and tells you what to use and quantities at the end. Would be good to see you try that!

I'll take the McWilder please Best way to replicate the milkshake is to use cheap strawberry ice cream and blend with milk or cheap strawberry milk which per litre is about 89p from lidl etc

🇨🇦 Used to like Big Macs . Until they started stepping on them ! My goto Mcmeal nowadays is 2 McDoubles , a Junior chicken ana Lg. Fry . I only eat this when one of the food delivery apps has some kinda deal on . Fast food has somehow morphed into less of a convenience . Nothing on McDonald's menu should cost more than $ 4/5 . Especially not fries or soda . Ronald McDonald is clowning us all nowadays . Makes me Grimace !

You didn't add the cost of the building you made your burger in... or the elecriticity cost... or the reuasables/consumables ie packaging, cooking oils or cleaning detergents or even the cost of equipment like pans or pots or ovens / deepfryers and fridges/freezers and then you sill would need to pay for your labour and insurances so - 7 or 8 quid seems more than fair with no cleanup or responsibility requirements. If you're going to do apples to apples.... then do apples to apples.
