Sometimes furniture inside will glitch and look like it would outside in the dark for some reason and needs to be 'reset'. grabbing the furniture in build buy and placing it back down usually fixes it.

About the Lighting: if you're using a lighting mod (especially the one from MTS), it's a bit incompatible with the game's lighting core files and resets at random when loading lots. Normally the quick fix is to grab and let go of the light with the cursor (no need to relocate it normally), but ultimately looking for another lighting mod could help (there's others but which ones that don't have this issue is what I'm unsure of)

That lighting glitch is pretty common but not sure what causes it! If you go into buy mode, pick up the lights and either put them back down or just hit Esc, it should fix the lighting!
