My mother helped me furnish my first apartment she was a single mother raising three kids she worked as a cashier but she made sure that my apartment was fully furnished so it's not just people with money that are able to help their children into adulthood and I think that needs to be spoke on more. This is truly beautiful, Toya. Having parents is an incredible experience and a blessing from God. Years ago, when I moved out of their house and bought my first condo on the 20th floor. As a wonderful housewarming gift, they surprised me by paying the Mortgage for the entire year and even gifted me a beautiful car with insurance coverage paid up for six months. Even at 35, my parents continue to show their love, always asking if I have enough gas money and groceries. Whenever they ask, I respond, "I'm good y'all."I can't stress enough how important it is to cherish and love our parents more than anything else in life, even more than material possessions or influence. Possessions come and go, but a mother's care and love, along with a father's unwavering support, are irreplaceable. Every day, I thank God for the incredible gift of my parents and strive to show them the utmost respect and obedience. Whenever I'm away from them, I try my best to make them proud by embodying traits of grace, humility, and kindness. I'm aware of the tremendous grace I've received from them, and it motivates me to be a better person each day.
