@@darktrader.x01 sorry, it is c++. actually you need the basics of programming c++ (search on youtube) . Loops, conditionals, type of variables, pointers.. There are plenty of tutorials. After you learn the basics, come back to this channel and look for the basics in mql5 (he has two or three videos about basics). My suggestion is also to learn about trading concepts (candles, spread, prices, pairs, strategies) and then you can navigate through all videos in this channel. You will find all you need here. If you feel overwhelmed go and sing up in his trainings but focus on the basics. Learning programming will take you three months if you don't have any background.

@@darktrader.x01 that's the language used on mql4 and 5 but no need for that. you'd learn a lot of stuff you don't need. focus on what you truly need to learn how to code EAs. I can teach that. not for free of course but I can help you if you want.

Rene, Been following you for sometime, Thank you for the work you do. I have a question that i feel would make a good follow up video to this. After creating an EA and looking at putting it on the marketplace how do you do the licensing for it? That is the part i am missing. Does the MT5 marketplace handle this for you or do you have to create your own backend server to track the license. I know you have done a video coving parts of this or a way to do it. But I guess I want to know what is the best way to handle it, what do you do when selling your EA's . Maybe a walkthrough from EA ready to sell to placing it on the Marketplace with license i think that would not only benefit myself but others.

You do not have to do anything and the mql5 market does everything automatically :)

ah right. maybe my wording was not good. what i wanted to say is that many pretend to make (all) of their money with trading but in reality they make it selling stuff. and i do not think that selling stuff is a bad thing. i also make my money selling stuff and not from trading. but i think it is a problem and deceiving if these gurus draw an image of invincibility and create expectations that are just not realistic. i see a lot of (young) traders who are misled by their marketing and i see this as a huge problem because people are really losing their life earnings because of this sh*t... hope this makes sense. i do not have any problem with anyone who is honest but does not show his earnings.

I think mql5 does the licensing and they do not ship the source code but only the executable

Yes definitely. But I think if you just set up a youtube stream with a winning system and create a mql5 signal it will still work. You just need to do something and most people never start.

What do you mean it is not making money? I cannot guarantee anything for the future of course but in the last years my trading was profitable. But if you really want to do yourself a favor I recommend learning how to code.
