I think the misunderstanding persisted though. TwoFace was saying that going backwards is hard and Yannic was saying that it shouldn't be *that* hard but it also can't be too easy and it can't be too weird feeling either. Zeepkist has some of that mario kart drift steering where you turn more than the physics allows for. I would be ok with him getting rid of that fake drift steering entirely, but you don't really want to make this the dark souls of racing games. I do understand that's not the point of Zeepkist. TwoFace: if you guys want track ideas, try making IRL tracks like Laguna Seca and then just drop the whole Nurburgring on them. You know if you got a couple hundred hours to "invest".

There was a line rider 2 that got made, but was a proper PC game and wasn't anywhere near as popular as the flash game. Some features it introduced got brought to the flash one eventually

About the split angle. What about like an 80%/20%. Where under 80% it corrects to forward and over 80% it corrects to backward. Numbers would have to be tested of course

hey, i have a track idea, maze runner, make the start rng based, (the door thingys) and then just have a maze. Now yes I know what you are thinking, cant they memorize the maze, technically yes, but i believe you are able to have hinge thingys like the doors, and then have a hole go and make you go down, to a sublevel and then have a diffrent maze, then you have to memorize multiple maze, and you can even add even more sublevels
