I Made Miitopia Miserable

Yeah. Miitopia jobless. Miitopia with no job, no levels, no equipment, or skills. Not to mention no party members. This is quite the challenge. I was planning to also do some dialogue edits to match with what happens, but playing through this already took a LOT of time. Enjoy!

Traveler class is pretty much just the staple of the starting main hero. So the tank has a speed base of 1, where the traveler has 0.. so that sounds pretty tough..

this is really cool. glad to see miitopia content still alive and kicking. since the horse wasn't all too loved in this run (I don't blame you hshshs). maybe a horse only challenge would be cool? (Like, you get to have a job, but no friends and only the horse can deal damage)

The horse can be so op some times. I found it funny how NY character defeated the final boss of the main story by riding the horse and then she (the horse) bucked him. It was poetic that it was the final blow.

I've played a lot of Miitopia, and this whole time I didn't think there was a difference between magic and physical attacks from enemies, I just thought defense was the general defense stat. Interesting, you learn something new every day.

It's easy to go without knowing. It's why fiends deal so much damage, and are resistant to magic, because they just have a super high magic stat

If you ever continue this playthrough, I have to know... What would you do with the Dark Lord fight, where he takes off your face and doesn't allow you to act, the part where you have to rescue your, in this case, inexistent friends, and the final boss, where you have to use all your teammates?

For the face stealing, itll either be that it doesnt work, or really screws me over lol. And for the final boss... i might have to mod it so i just have to run all 3 battles in a row, similar to tower of dread... by myself

As one who’s played Miitopia since 2017, this is a pretty damn cool challenge! Suffering is considered cool, right? Seeing the Guest A Mii show up for that cutscene is really fascinating! I wonder if they show up for the first two phases of The Darkest Lord? I can’t imagine those fights being very easy… or even winnable, if they’re default characters. It would be cool to see if it’s possible to beat the entire game like this, but it also sounds incredibly agonizing. Buuuut on the other hand, it sounds like fire content… Either way, this video was super cool! Hope to see more like it in the future! ❤️

This is the complete opposite to what I do when I play Miitopia. I use a save editor to max out my party’s weapons, armour and food buffs. And I repeat this every time my party gets kidnapped and my job gets removed.

@@Cratfet Yes, this save editor also maxed out my level, I forgot to mention that. For me, a game isn’t fun unless it is easy. The only game I can think of that can’t be save edited is Ring Fit Adventure. If you want to progress in the game you have to exercise. Hence why most KZbin Let’s Players didn’t even bother with it.

Honestly, kind of makes me wonder how much the run would change if you did have allies. Still no jobs, but you also have allies. In most cases it would be better, your side attacks more often, friendship buffs, safe zone, opponents would have to target more than just one mii, and you have a better chance for someone in the party to like a specific food type. But there are some potential downsides, you have to grind food for multiple party members now (cause if you try to just focus on one mii, then your just doing this run with 3 additional hits at best, and the occasional mandatory split up segments would force you to use the weaker, unbuffed miis), arguments can happen within the party now, and you are now also vulnerable to the holes that randomly remove one mii from your current party until you go back to the inn (which isn't too much of a issue, but it would be a pain to have to exit the level, go back to the inn, reequip the party member, then reenter the level.). Would it overall be easier? Yeah, but part of the intrigue of these types of challenges is the journey to beat the game in this altered state, so seeing how much having a full team of jobless miis would differ from a solo jobless mii run is an interesting idea, to me at least. Also, I'm just glad to see more Miitopia content on KZbin, Miitopia has to be one of my favorite games of all time, so yeah, keep up the good work man! :]

Funny enough, I got back into Miitopia at some point, and now my team has consisted of Raiden, Pinkie Pie, two Sonic characters, Sephiroth, Captain Falcon, and even SiivaGunner of all things. It’s a hilarious game I recommend.

this challenge would be harder in the original (3ds) game, because the horse doesnt exist, then again, you could just make it so that the horse doesnt join you in your adventure (yes, you can actually just make it not join you), which would mean no snort edit: this would also mean no neigh, which is extremely useful edit 2: cheeb rub is a different effect, i meant neigh

Reminds me of that time I did a run where I can’t unlock revive sprinkles. Everything else was fair game but the second I lost a Mii it was over. Both dark lords were just horrible to deal with. Annnnnd having bash my head against the wall that was mandatory fiends
