I know that my videos have been 3D printing heavy recently and that has been because Elegoo has been so generous and sent me 2 of their printers. They have also been one of the most responsive and caring companies I have worked with so I wanted to be sure and get the reviews for both of their printers out ASAP. However, I wanted my handmade-loving friends to know that I still strive to keep a balance between handmade and machine made here on my channel. All next month I will be working on the Beetlejuice house and characters by hand! Machines will always be something I enjoy working with as they really help me get more done in less time, however my love of making something from scratch will never go away😊 If you are wanting to get into 3D printing without being able to get a machine for yourself, be sure to check your local library or maker spaces! Many of them have printers you can try out!

Thanks for the explanation. I, for one, am so glad to hear this, because I was really looking forward to see you make weird alien plants by hand when I saw the video title. I get the possibilities and convenience of it, and that it can save a lot of time, but I can't help feeling a bit disappointed whenever I see creators 3D print stuff when I clicked on the video to see how things are handmade. I'm afraid 3D printing will just never be my jam unfortunately. Either way I still very much enjoyed this video (like all your content), I really like how you combine the printed items with your amazing style of creating, it turned out super awesome! I'm also looking forward to Beetlegust (whether it's in actual August or much later, it'll be worth the wait! Quality over quantity / good mental health over stress and pressure.) Edited because I forgot to add that YES, shorts would be great! 🖤

I am 59 years old now and I know so very well, what you are fighting with. I do handicrafts whole of my life. Now my children are grown up, I don't have to go to work for other people no more . I can do, what ever comes into my head, but I am old now, my constitution isn't very well anymore. I have still so, so many ideas. I am fearing I could never do this all. But I'm trying. That keeps me alive. I love what you are doing and: Go on! There is only one live. Greetings from Germany!

Hello Ara, to begin with, short, super short are not the formats I prefer. But that's because I'm a foodie and I like to spend a good time watching you create, make, undo, get excited, doubt and finally succeed. It's like spending time with a trusted friend who shares her projects. Being rather lonely for the past few years, (long live the disability ☹️)watching videos of female designers I enjoy makes me feel like I'm not so isolated. Even if you live on the other side of the world. Your room is just awesome 🤩. Whether it's 3D printing or all handmade, you have an awesome feel. You would really imagine yourself in a room dedicated to plant research 🌱 . It's all there and we believe it. Excellent. The diversity of the plants, the colors , the planters, the small Groot😜, the carnivorous plant the feeding tubes..... Well you understood everything pleases me. Your inspiration is a great motivation for me. Thank you. I hope that despite the enormous workload, you will always have the desire and the possibility to offer us these wonderful moments of happiness. Even if I have to admit that all this work must be terrible to manage between family life, the need to earn a living and the realization of your videos. What a great energy. I stop my comment, too long, I know and from the bottom of my heart I wish you all the success you deserve. Take care of yourself. And those you love. Scratch for Stormie Kisses from France 🇫🇷 Domi

Your videos are always well worth the wait. I check frequently and today was an Ara day - hurray 💖 You inspire me and stimulate my creativity - especially awesome when I'm struggling with a commission or private project. I love the plant room! The fungi / mold and plants are so cool. The large water pipe reminds me of my old aquarium. Yes to smaller clear tubing for the watering system. Pet store / fish store. I'd love to see the results once you change out the tubing. I'm very happy with videos whenever you get the chance. Better you balance your schedule and not be stressed as this puts a damper on that creative spark. KZbin shorts intrigue me. If you want to experiment, I'll watch 😍

I think the "robots" you printed are actually Pokemon XD It's a Pokemon called Deoxys. The fun thing is, in Pokemon lore, this is an Alien - so it fits perfectly into a spaceship :D I love the plant room, and the bigger tubes don't even bother me. I think they might look more natural with some water-residue in them (like small drops or a bit dripping out). I'm also all for YT shorts for smaller additions :D

You are and always have been worth the wait Ara. 😊👍 Honestly, I don’t think you even need the tubing. 🤔😄 I felt that the very excellent approximation of the water tube already gave the feeling of the room feeling humid and being watered, without actually having to have the other tubing present. 💁🏼‍♀️😁 Feel free to ignore this opinion and go with your heart of course.😁👍 But you asked what we thought and honestly I thought the room looked really great without it. 💁🏼‍♀️😁 Lots of love and thanks again for all you share. You and your channel are a delight and I learn so much from you. Just as important, you remind me to have fun. God bless you Ara. 😊💐

I had the same thought as you as soon as I put in the tubes.. 'was it better before?'. I think I will try the smaller tubing to see if I can still get the effect I have in my head but if not I can always remove it and just "mold" over the area where the glue was😄 I am always happy to hear opinions and thoughts on my projects. Many times it's the ideas and suggestions of other that make them better! Thank you so much my friend💖

Thank you for that point of view Liz! It seems so many channel ramped up during lock down times because everyone was home and in need of entertainment! And now we are realizing we can't keep up the same schedule. But you are right... its the same for viewers. There is too much content to watch it all with other things going on! That makes me feel better!

I always enjoy your videos, but this one was really great! The plant room was unexpected (not what I thought of for a space ship), but is is all wonderful. It fills the little nook perfectly. You did great grunge work on it so it looked like a used and useful part of the space ship. The plants were fun and the little Groot hiding inside was fun. Your imagination and creativity continues to amaze me.

Hello I am very fascinated with miniatures in the past I have only used notebook paper. I like to make miniatures of my home furniture, so I can move it around to see if how it looks before I move my heavy things. You have given me so many Ideas of things that I can use to make the different furniture out of. You are a God send. I'm so glad that I found your site.

That looked so much fun and looks so good. A real little surprise for anyone viewing the dio. Like everyone is saying, you should be able to get smaller tubes easily enough. Shorts showing things like applying the tiles to the outside of the spaceship would be good - anything repetitive that people would find interesting but don’t need to watch the whole process in other words. Just get videos up when you can. They are sooo worth waiting for so don’t stress over how frequent they are. And good luck with your shop and shows. You have some lovely stuff on there.

I love this room and project so much lol. It has such a nostalgic sci-fi feel to it and you make it come to life with all the details. Seriously reminds me of Star Wars (the older ones) and I mean that in the best way! On another note-I’m glad that you’re pacing yourself. It’s hard having a family, and a business and then you also have a channel! That’s a lot! God only saw fit to give you two hands so you have to make the best of it and use them on one thing at a time sometimes lol! It’s a juggling act for sure ❤️ I hope you have a great weekend!

As others have said, don't sweat the video updates too much. Better to have quality instead of quantity; and you're definitely doing some quality stuff here. 3D printing is certainly improving all the time. I recently made a miniature chess set with a 20mm board where the king is 4mm tall (pawns are 2mm) and they still had an amazing amount of detail. You can still tell exactly what the pieces are. Keep up the great work!

For a small tubing for your plant watering system visit the indoor garden section at Home Depot. You will find fuel line in 3 different mini sizes and colors all in one package for a few dollars. These are used to repair lawn mower or gas weed eaters. You will get exactly what you need size wise. Love your creativity, I was hooked on your channel when I happened on your " abandoned coffee house" video. I am currently making a midevil toy dollhouse for my just turned 3 year old granddaughter. She can't get enough doors and windows that she can open. Have fun at the dentist.

I Love your plant room it turned out incredible. Have you thought of using the tubing from a drip irrigation system for watering plants, you can usually get it in a lot narrower gauge than fishpond tubing. Great work once again.
