Raylobos' ability really captures the essence of Starrk's resurrección. Spoiler: I imagine many who only watched the anime would appreciate to know that Lilinette didn't die before Starrk in the manga, they die together

Your homie didn't do the king justice a rhino? Espada 2 has mad ghost poison type vibes and is the most classic grim reaper design and he turned it into a ground type rhino never let your boy cook again

I confess it’s been a hot minute since I read the Arancar/ Fake Karakura arc to completion- was recently working on a reread before I binge the everloving hell out of TYBW. Currently just about to go into the Ulquiora fight- so my memory on Barragan’s personality is a tad bit fuzzy. I did actually try for more ominous designs, but I didn’t think they meshed well with the Pokémon style. Can only go so hard with em, and admitedly, I work better with the more detailed design ethos of digimon. As for his typing, I was both trying to work within the limitations that Someguy’s own mons followed- each one has a unique type- and liked the idea that Kaseking was a return to the earth, ashes to ashes and all that. As for the Rhino pull? The bulky body and horns were reminiscent of him and his crown. I actually did try to make a Deer work, but that was getting too complex and morbid for a Pokémon. That, and Deer are too timid, while A Rhino can attack you for looking at it funny due to their god awful eyesight. For someone like Barragan, who is too proud to even carry his own weapon, and who will threaten his Allie’s for perceived disrespect? I liked it. Were I to make Barragan a digimon, I could absolutely go harder designing him. And if I’d given myself more time, I was rolling around ideas for a mega evolution or alt design to match his Resureccion- considering his is the most dramatic change from his base. Course then that’d get people asking Someguy for mega’s for everyone else, then everyone’s dissapointed and I end up tired. What I’m saying is believe me, I thought about it.

@@morallygary9098 his personality was prideful arrogance masking his fear of death but in reality to do justice you would of just wound up with a Darkrai and duskull fusion and that wouldn't of been original I do like the idea of making his crown and cloak key parts of his design just feel a rhino with bone armor doesn't fit well but hey your art style itself is well polished and I gotta give you credit you have the b@lls to think outside the box

Your style and designs are amazing, didn't needed a collab (the other guy's "pokémon" was a little bit raw and ugly for me, a bad design that doens't fit in the sugimori style). Anyway, love you work and art. You deserve to grow and get more attention and recognition from the Pokémon Community.
