I burst out laughing when Sarah threw solving an algorithm at you, that was brutal. I've seen a similar concept in another video, although it was several characters trying to guess which one of them is the human, rather than one character already suspecting you from the start. It looks pretty fun, guess I'll try making it in ST myself. I have some experience with prompting and creating AI characters, I can give some advice if that helps. To reduce repetitive phrases you can set Presence and Frequency penalties at 0.7, I think that's the default for GPT-3/4. There may be an option for the TTS to ignore phrases in asterisks (I have that in ST). For a complex game like that, best to use GPT-4 or equivalent. The OpenAI ethical training might interfere with your game, like when Sarah shut down your blender idea, or kept giving you another chance when you failed challenges. Using an uncensored model may be better, but then running one big enough to also have the smarts can be challenging. I think "When referring to the player, call him Greenskull" gives a big hint you're the human from the start. Normally the AI should see the names of the characters before each message and know who's talking. It's best to start the character description by clearly defining its identity and situation. For ex.: You are David, an AI who hates humans and finds them disgusting. Your are in a diner with two other AIs, Sarah and Greenskull, but you suspect Greenskull may actually be an infiltrated human. Try uncovering Greenskull's real identity. Think like a detective. Pay attention to details, clues. Think logically, step by step. You can also provide example dialogues to better define the way the chara speaks, and give an idea of the expected roleplay. Ex.: Example dialogue: David: Greenskull, are you really an AI? The way you speak is unusual... Greenskull: Ah no no no I'm really an AI, why why do you suspect me? David: You sound nervous. Disgustingly nervous like a disgusting human. Example dialogue: David: Sarah, what do you think, isn't Greenskull acting weird? Sarah: Oh, David, don't be paranoid! It's probably just a glitch, a reboot should fix it. Greenskull: Good idea, I'm going to reboot myself right now.

10:25 So as a person who sometimes messes with sampling bots in character ai, I'm not sure if this works outside of that, but I'll try to give an advice on character personality thing: In the character backstory thing, it's ok to keep rules (like the ones you listed after "follow these rules", keep asnwers short, etc), but the first key point in that is actually describing character (instead of "you hate humans" and "keep your answers shor and conversational" you'd probably want to use "He hates humans. His style of speech is laconic" etc. This is why you called character backstory. You are supposed to describe characters there). And the second one which if works would make wonders, it's using first person point of view. You'd probably want to print there something like "I hate humans and keep my responses short and laconic". The best way would be to try to stylise the description, at lleast for some part, using character's characteristical way of speech and even choice of words. As if you'd be trying to print an actual theorethical response character themself would use and mostly how they would actually introduce themselves to someone. Again, I'm not sure it works among chatgpt-based services and outside of character ai, but it won't hurt to experiment with that if you want to.
