Hi sounds cool and your passion for building is shines through. I would like to see it in action and if you could provide a parts list and source for making one it would be great. I want to make it for a friend and I need to be spoon fed. So instructions etc would rock. Thank you for posting!!

Well done, HOWEVER, most people need or already have a battery operated drill (or impact driver) in their house. Set up one of these to run on your battery operated drill so that the drill isn’t permanently attached and you lower the cost to about fifty dollars and your drill which you can still use as a drill….. and the drill has adjustable speeds based on how much you squeeze the trigger.

Hopefully my comment helps. I would start with it functioning first. Then go to the breakdown. I’ll be looking for updates.

Did you consider using a wireless remote control? And have you explored parts to add variable speeds for the pulley? If so, what components did you use?

I've given up on this project. Not sure of I overloaded the system but it has now died. Battery is charged but It no longer powers up.

@@BurntSesame-Co were you using heavy lures? When did the system fail?
@BurntSesame-Co4 жыл бұрын
@@ctyank4946 your comment reminded me that I hadn't done anything with it in a few months so I went to take it apart and turns out the thing still works. I think something with the remote shorted or something. I was just using a rabbit hide from clean run or some grocery bags. Nothing heavy.

@@BurntSesame-Co awesome. Glad to hear. You were very creative before. Let me know if you come up with any ideas for variable speed and wireless remote options.

How many runs in a row can you do before overheating g. ?
@BurntSesame-Co3 жыл бұрын
I did a fun run day once (10+ runs) and as long as I had an extra battery, the unit never overheated

What type of pulleys would you recommend?

For turns? I never got that figured out. The premade ones for coursing setups are expensive and I had considered using clothesline reels but I never had the time to purchase them and try them out
