I went with durock v2s with holee mod and akko crystal silvers(lubed) and the sound is miles better than stock... If they had a keycap set that was also black and grey and supported rgb I'd go with different caps but I like the stock ones well enough 😁

Dear, first of all, thank you very much for your review, I have this same keyboard and I want to modify it, I had some questions in your video, what specifically are the stabilizers that you installed? And the other switches I could change, I plan to use it mainly for FPS games, I was thinking about the Cherry MX Silver ones but I don't know if it's worth switching to these from the factory ones. If not, could you recommend some to me? Regards. and thanks again.

I think I heard something about loosening the screws which can help with the gasket flex. I also was going to switch the switches with yellow cream v3 :) Nice to see and hear something similar to what I am about to build! I wish the OLED screen had color though. Your videos will be a great guide for me to do my first keyboard build 😁 TY

I've been looking around and there is no clear answer, if anybody knows pls let me know, Does Armoury works with Mac? I got the keyboard and downloaded armoury but it doesn't register the keyboard for some reason, therefore I'm stuck with basic configuration, can't really use the display and if I can't well, then the KB isn't really worth it.

These come under stabilisers - if you want to use new ones. To me the stock stabs sound better than these new in the video, but maybe it’s because of the video processing or something..

Wondering how this modded version will sound with clicky switches 🤔 Kailh Speed Bronze are a fave of mine and they sound and feel pretty decent. Probably wil be the most refined gaming clicky keyboard built everrrr

It'll probably sound pretty close aside from the additional "click" sound since most keyboards with both Tape and PE Foam mods tend to sound pretty similar, not exactly the same, but will share some of the sound signature.

how does the modded version feel compared to GB boards like zoom or qk?

I don't have any of the two, so unfortunately, I can't give comparison feedback. But just based on my previous experiences with full aluminum keyboards with gasket mounts, they usually sound and feel better. More robust, deep, and with an ample amount of flex. The ROG Azoth, especially this modded version is close, but not quite compared to other custom full aluminum keyboards that I've tried.

In my opinion, third party stabilizers are still better that's why I replaced mine

The only miss here are the screw in stabs. It sucks that you have to custom mod that. It makes me wonder how much more manufacturing it costs just to add screw holes.

Yung tape, painters tape lang from Homebru, yung foam is PE foam. Pero I suggest look for thinner one, yung gamit ko kasi medyo makapal

You can’t do a tape model on this board it can cause a fire because it has a battery so I would take that out ASAP

Some painter's tapes are heat resistant and don't use conductive adhesive and are safe to use with batteries
